Vanessaa Marcil Moves to CBS

Another cast member is departing ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy.” Melissa George is leaving the show just “to do something else”, says the actress. George came on the show to play the bisexual Dr. Sadie Harris, who was a past friend of Dr. Meredith Grey.

The actress told Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, “It was my choice,” but she will miss the friends she has made on the show.

You might remember her before on J.J. Abrams’s “Alias” or the film, “The Amityville Horror.”

More work will definitely be on the horizon for this actress, as she was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for work on In Treatment.

As for “Grey’s Anatomy,” the show must go on but for some it hasn’t been what it used to be.
