‘DAYS’ delivers it’s highest rating in Women 18-49 since last year.
In a press released issued Thursday, it was announced that NBC’s sole remaining daytime drama Days of Our Lives has delivered strong ratings for the week of October 26-30, gaining 8 percent in Women 18-49 over the same time last year. The daytime drama also delivered strong numbers in Women 25-54, gaining 11 percent over this time last year.
For the week of October 26-30, DAYS tied for the #2 position among the daytime dramas in both demographics, Women 18 to 49 and Women 18 to 34. The soap achieved it’s highest numbers in Women 18 to 49 (1.4 with an 8 share) in the past 10 months, and it also gained in Women 18 to 34 (1.0/6 share) the highest rating since June, 2009.
Compared with the same week last year, DAYS was up 8 percent in women 18-49 (899,000 vs. 833,000), up 11 percent in women 25-54 (989,000 vs. 892,000) and up 9 percent in total viewers (3.0 million vs. 2.7 million).
Season to date, DAYS is tied for #2 in both women 18-49 and women 18-34 and the NBC soap is up 8 percent in women 18-49 (967,000 vs. 897,000), up 10 percent in women 25-54 (1.044 million vs. 946,000) and up 15 percent in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 2.7 million).
The last remaining NBC soap continues to generate the biggest year-to-year gains for any daytime series on any major network in total viewers and women 18-49 viewers.
