Sweet Sixteen, Hollywood Style!
Taylor Spreitler, who plays Mia McCormick on NBC’s Days of Our Lives, recently celebrated her birthday with a “Peace, Love, & Rock N’ Roll” Sweet Sixteen bash in Hollywood, CA on Saturday, October 24.
Taylor’s party was put together by Celebrity Party Planner Jes Gorden, author of Party Like A Rockstar and is hosted at Ecco Ultra Lounge. Ecco is located in the heart of Hollywood, CA and is known for being extremely eco friendly by use of paperless drywall, special paint, L.E.D. lighting, eco friendly cement, and various other green products. The venue was fitting seeing how as in the past few years NBC & Days have really pushed a go green lifestyle
The guest list was full of her Days of Our Lives costars like Molly Burnett (Melanie), Casey Deidrick (Chad), Mark Hapka (Nathan), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Shelby Young (Kinsey) and Gabriella Rodriguez (Gabby). Various other young Hollywood up-and-comers also attended the party such as Debby Ryan (Suite Life on Deck), Jennifer Stone (Wizards of Waverly Palace), Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina, General Hospital) and Amy Castle (Tara, General Hospital), Sterling Knight (17 Again), Josh Sussman (Glee), Brandon Beemer (The Bold & The Beautiful) and various others. I interviewed a few of her DAYS co-stars at the event.
The party was decked out in mostly pink shades including a pink customized backdrop with Taylor’s name for photo ops, pink lighting inside the club, pink candy, and a guitar shaped cake. The club also offered a special non-alcoholic drink menu since this was after all, a sweet sixteen party.
Taylor joined Days of our Lives back in January of 2009 that was to be a in a small, short term role. Eventually Taylor was offered a contract. Her character Mia has been a key player in the shows’ year long baby swap storyline and now Mia finds herself in the midst of a love triangle as all of her secrets and lies have come out.
