Newcomer Cast as Teddy’s New Love Interest

Looks like Teddy’s gonna have another boy to kiss (and maybe not tell) when 90210 returns from its winter break. Though Teddy (Trevor Donovan) has been getting hot and heavy with Ian (Kyle Riabko), don’t expect it to continue much longer. Michael Ausiello is reporting the casting of newbie (and hottie) Freddie Smith as Teddy’s new love interest. Smith will play Marco, described as “athletic, friendly and openly gay.”

According to Ausiello’s source, Riabko wants to be available during pilot season, and thus enter Mr. Smith. The newest cast member to 90210 debuts in February.

90210 returns from winter break on Monday, January 24, 2011.
