Sean Patrick Flanery Joins The Cast of Y&R

Another new face hits Genoa City! TVGuide.com exclusively reported earlier today that actor Sean Patrick Flanery, known for his roles in television and film, is joining the cast of The Young and the Restless. Flannery will play the role of Sam, described as a “salt of the earth country” veterinarian. TVGuide also reports Sam will be paired up with fan favorite Sharon Case (Sharon Newman). He is set to air sometime in mid-April.

Sean’s appeared numerous television shows, including The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Charmed, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Dead Zone, Numb3rs, and Criminal Minds. His film credits span multiple genres, with such films as Powder, The Boondock Saints, and Saw 3D: The Final Chapter on his resume.
