Every Parent’s Worst Nightmare

Jake doesn’t make it through surgery and Jason breaks the terrible news to Lucky. Lucky is faced with the undaunting task of telling Elizabeth she’s lost a child. After his failure in the OR, Patrick loses it, but finds solace in Robin, while Maxie finds comfort in Matt. Terrell prescribes chemotherapy for Josslyn’s cancer, but Jax disagrees with and holds out hope they can find an organ donor. Both Dante and Sam work together to find who perpetrated Jake’s hit and run and they manage to narrow the search to seven cars. A desperate Carly approaches a grieving Jason, asking for her best friend’s dead son to save her own daughter. Jason agrees to speak with Lucky and Elizabeth on Carly’s behalf to save Josslyn. Elizabeth is outraged, but ultimately she agrees to the kidney donation.

Lucky opens up to Luke. Nikolas tries to be strong for the Spencer family. Jason breaks down over the loss of Jake. Dante and Sam learn the identities of all seven drivers and Sam is shaken to realize that she or even Carly may be Jake’s hit-and-run driver. The Spencers come together during their time of loss. With Kristina’s help, Michael distracts Ronnie at the PCPD to uncover the list of suspects in Jake’s hit and run. Sam is the only person able to comfort Jason. Steve mourns for the loss of Jake as he comforts his distraught sister. Carly confronts Jason with her fears that she was the one who hit Jake. Patrick threatens Johnny saying that by egging Lisa on into the syringe scavenger hunt, he may be partially responsible for Jake’s death. Jason and Carly get emotional. The Spencer and Webber families continue to reel from the loss of Jake. Sonny and Brenda rush home to Port Charles to support Jason upon the news of Jake’s death. Jason and Elizabeth share their regrets and loss.

ELSEWHERE IN PORT CHARLES

Sonny and Brenda enjoy their first day of their honeymoon in Positano together, but Sonny cannot help from trying to track Theo. Theo gives Suzanne an ultimatum to choose between ASEC and their grandchild. Kristina keeps Abby away from Michael as he watches over Josslyn. Realizing life is too short, Robin asks Patrick to move back into their home.

Sonny and Brenda discuss her career, and she reveals she does not want to return to modeling. Robin and Patrick enjoy a family breakfast with their daughter. Dante struggles with the dichotomy of his two opposing worlds in his approach with Michael. Robin throws down with Lisa, who gets violent with a scalpel. Michael and Abby console each other over the week’s events.

CAN’T MISS

Despite Robin & Patrick’s best efforts, Jake dies on the operating table as Jason watches above the OR on Monday, March 21st.

Josslyn’s life is in Elizabeth’s hands on Tuesday, March 22nd.

Under the duress of an investigation, Lisa steals back the syringe and destroys it on Wednesday, March 23rd.

Michael decides to protect his mother, even if it means destroying evidence on Thursday, March 24th.

Carly receives a disturbing message from Franco threatening Josslyn’s life on Friday, March 25th.

Jason becomes angry after Jake’s death. Michael and Abby hit the sheets. Brenda tries to visit with Carly and Josslyn at the hospital. Patrick and Robin flaunt their rekindled love in front of Lisa. Sonny and Luke have a heartbreaking conversation. Lulu worries about her family. Theo inches closer to finding Brenda’s baby. Lucky confides in Maxie. Abby is beat up.
