What happens when former lovers are reunited? MTV is asking that question for the 22nd season of The Challenge: Battle of Exes. The boys of girls of MTV’sThe Real World and Road Rules are back for another round of intense physical action, politics and backstabbing — all for a piece of a $300,000 prize. 13 couples will battle it out in the Dominican Republic.
Rules of the game are a little different this year. As with previous years, the lowest performing team is automatically sent into the elimination round, which this year is “The Dome.” The team that performs the best will become the “Power Couple”. As the Power Couple, they will earn an unprecented power — the power to unilaterally send a team into “The Dome.” Two teams enter — only one team will remain.
