Is Florencia Lozano (Tea, OLTL) relocating to Port Charles?
We Love Soaps reports Lozano is scheduled to report to set this week. The actress has been a fixture on One Life to Live off and on since originating the role of attorney Tea Delgado in 1996.
After departing the show in 2000, she returned for a guest appearance in 2002. In 2008, Lozano reprised the role of Tea once again to defend Todd (then-Trevor St. John). During the show’s final months, Tea learned she was pregnant with Victor’s (Trevor St. John) child, and began working with Lt. John McBain (Michael Easton) to expose the role Todd (Roger Howarth) played in his brother’s death. In the show’s series finale, it was revealed to the audience that Victor was actually alive!
With Roger Howarth bringing Todd to GH full-time this May, could Tea’s appearance in Port Charles have something to do that storyline? Will Trevor St. John soon follow suit?
Update 4/9/12: Soaps In Depth has confirmed the casting news. Lozano is expected to be involved in Roger Howarth’s storyline and will first air in May.
I would love to see Tea and Alexis go head to head.Diane is no longer on GH so I think it would work out. Can not wait to see what happens.
I liked Tea on OLTL, but GH already has great underused strong women lawyers in Alexis and Diane. Does the show need another one?
