Grey Damon (The Secret Circle, Friday Night Lights) and Kathy Najimy (Make It or Break It, King of the Hill) will guest star in the pilot episode of Gavin Polone’s upcoming ABC Family thriller Socio.

Starring Avan Jogia (Victorious), Denise Richards (Blue Mountain State) and Sam Robards (Treme), Socio is a one-hour drama centered on a charismatic 16 year-old alleged sociopath who reconnects with childhood friends, and becomes the prime suspect when a fellow student is murdered. Danny (Jogia) returns to town after service five years in custody for the murder of his aunt when he was 11.

Though he admits his guilt, he refuses to divulge his motives for doing so. Danny returns to a hostile reception and a media firestorm. Ostracized by his peers, he reconnects with former best friends Jo (Maddie Hasson) and Lacey (Kylie Bunbury), who are still struggling to put the past behind them. But when another student is murdered, Danny becomes the main suspect.

Damon, who is coming off a recurring stint on The CW’s Secret Circle, will play Archie, Lacey’s hot-headed boyfriend unhappy with her renewed friendship with Danny. Najimy will play an eccentric, charismatic psychology named Mrs. Fisk.
