'Gossip Girl' Series Finale Photo Preview: "New York, I Love You XOXO"

On Monday, “Gossip Girl” will air its final episode ever as part of a two-hour finale event. The CW has been tight-lipped about what’s going to happen in the episode, but we’ve got a few tidbits to go along with the photos for the series finale, “New York, I Love You. XOXO.”

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

Last week, Chuck and Blair watched as Bart fell to his death from the roof of the hotel (RIP retconned Bart). This week, the two are on the run as the cops want to question Chuck about what happened. But it’s not all bad news for the long-suffering couple. Chuck proposes to Blair and the two gather with their friends and family to say ‘I do.’ But will they be able to finish the ceremony before the police find them?

Serena has been pretty angry at Dan since Thanksgiving when he published that mean chapter about her in Vanity Fair. Before she can flee to LA, Dan gave her the ‘good’ Serena chapter to read. Serena is sticking around to make sure that her family is okay and she confronts Dan about the two chapters and demands to know how he really feels about her. Will they get their happy ending?

Nate has one last chance to salvage his beloved Spectator. Remember in the season premiere when he had a clue as to Gossip Girl’s identity? Nate’s back on the case and producers have promised that we will know who the mystery blogger is before the end of the episode so get your last minute guesses in.

Other tidbits: Katie Cassidy, Connor Paolo and Taylor Momsen are returning to reprise their roles as Juliet, Eric and Jenny. Other returns include Jack Bass, Eleanor Waldorf, her husband Cyrus and Kristen Bell, the voice of Gossip Girl, will be making an onscreen appearance for the first time.

The first hour of the night will include a look back at the series, cast interviews and more. Check out the photos below and catch the final episode of “Gossip Girl” on Monday, Dec. 17 beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST on The CW.
