Prospect Park and The Online Network have announced a partnership with recording superstar Snoop Lion (aka Snoop Dogg), who will write and produce One Life to Live’s upcoming revamped theme song! In addition, the rapper will appear in multiple episodes.
The song, titled “Brand New Start” will feature Iza Lach, Snoop’s Berhane Sound system label as well as Snoop Lion himself! Lion isn’t a newbie to One Life having previously appeared on the serial in 2008 and again in 2010.
TVSource Magazine reached out to TOLN for photos of the rapper’s appearance. They should be released sometime next week.

Los Angeles, CA – April 12, 2013 – Prospect Park/The Online Network has partnered with Snoop Lion, aka Snoop Dogg, who has signed on to write and produce the new theme song for the serial drama, “One Life to Live,” premiering with all new episodes on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes on Monday, April 29th. The song titled, “Brand New Start” speaks to the much anticipated series return and features soulful singer, Iza Lach, newly signed to Snoop’s Berhane Sound System label, and Snoop Lion himself.
In addition to producing and performing on the theme song, Snoop Lion will also be appearing as himself in new episodes. On the series, Snoop Lion is set to visit the fictional town of Llanview to promote his new Indie film, “Reincarnated” which documents his journey from Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion. Snoop Lion began shooting multiple scenes with new and returning favorites including, Robert S. Woods, Hillary B. Smith, Corbin Bleu, Robert Gorrie and Kelley Missal on April 11. Iza Lach also appeared on-set to shoot the music video for the song on Wednesday, April 10.
Snoop Lion is no stranger to the cast of “One Life to Live” as he has made several cameo appearances as Snoop Dogg when the show previously aired on ABC.

Brand new 30-minute episodes of “One Life to Live” will be launched each weekday and available to stream online in HD (when available) via the free Hulu.com service and to subscribers of Hulu Plus making these venerable dramas available in a new format that suits the viewing habits of the digital generation. In addition, the iTunes Store will offer both series via iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV and Mac or PC.

Excellent! I loved his previous appearances and am sure I will enjoy these as well. I think he is a great choice for the new opening theme! Can’t wait!
