Days of our Lives star Camila Banus (Gabi) was so excited about attending the awards ceremony. “Who wouldn’t want to come to an event where you see beautiful people become even more beautiful?”
The actress says the scenes where Gabi recently gave birth were fun to shoot. “It wasn’t as hard as people think it was. Working with Freddie Smith was such a blast and he was doing push-ups right before takes. He is so much fun and we were just laughing and trying to keep it light.”
Now that Gabi’s marriage to Nick is on the rocks, will they be able to find their way back to one another? Banus previews: “I think they are going to fight with their emotions of wanting to be together but knowing they shouldn’t.”
That isn’t all that’s happening with Gabi over the summer. The character will be getting some new digs. “We have a set that we are calling ‘Sonny’s apartment’ and it is so much fun. Gabi has her room with Arianna and Sonny and Will have their room and it is so much fun because during the summer they get to do some light storylines and comedy and stuff like that.”
I guess they call it Sonny’s apartment because he is the one renting it. Will does not have a job (unless he still works at the pub but we have not seen him working there for awhile). But Sonny called it “our apartment” so not sure why she said that. The WilSon storyline is the only one I care about. I am hoping we will see a WilSon engagement before the end of the year.
Why wouldn’t they call it Will & Sonny’s apartment or WilSon’s apartment instead of Sonny’s apartment? Strange. But I’m glad to read that there will be comedy this summer.
