‘House’s’ Lisa Edelstein books ‘Castle’ guest spot

0

As fans of ABC’s drama Castle anxiously wait for the season six premiere to find out how Beckett (Stana Katic) will respond to Castle’s (Nathan Fillion) proposal, some casting news seems to point to at least one direction Beckett will be heading in.

Former House star Lisa Edelstein has signed on for a multiple episode arc, according to TVLine, which exclusively reported the casting news. Per TVLine: “Edelstein will play Rachel McCord, a tough and highly-skilled Federal Investigator whose appearance plays a vital role in Beckett’s decisions about her future.”

It sounds like Beckett will be taking that Washington D.C. job since we’ll be seeing Edelstein for more than one episode. Of course that doesn’t mean Beckett will stay there permanently or that she won’t go with that ring on her finger (so many questions!).

Edelstein’s more recent credits include guest spots on Elementary, The Good Wife and Scandal.

Castle returns this fall on ABC.
