Rules of Engagement star, Oliver Hudson, will join Nashville’s sophmore season.
Deacon and Rayna shippers, clutch your pearls! Rayna Jaymes is getting a new love interest. Oliver Hudson has been cast as a tough, Nashville businessman who sets his sights on Rayna. TV Line was the first to report the news that Hudson will play a charming and fearless executive at Rayna’s label.
The show has already confirmed that it will do a time jump when the sophmore season begins. If you remember from the finale, Rayna and Deacon had a horrific car accident, leaving viewers gasping as their lives and relationship hung in the balance.
Nashville returns Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00 pm ET/PT
Our Take: Who doesn’t love a tall, dark and handsome man? (Secretly, my inner Dawson’s Creek fangirl – Eddie Doling will always be second to Pacey – is super excited about this casting!) Poor Deacon though!
