Video: 'The Originals' Charles Michael Davis Talks Marcel vs Klaus

Stealing the spotlight from the likes of Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies is not an easy thing to accomplish, but that’s exactly what Charles Michael Davis did in April when The Originals pilot aired as a backdoor episode of The Vampire Diaries. From the second Marcel appeared onscreen singing, “How Do You Like Me Now”, we were captivated.

Of course that doesn’t mean that we were ready to burn our ‘Team Klaus’ t-shirts just yet. But one of the major arcs on the upcoming series will be the war between Klaus and Marcel and we’re so excited to watch all of it play out. We want to know more about Marcel and his rise to power in New Orleans and we can’t wait to watch him go toe to toe with Klaus again.

The CW was kind enough to release a video interview with Davis. He previews the constant party in New Orleans, Klaus’ jealousy and all the things he’s got going for him. Check out the video below and feel free to swoon with us in the comments.
