‘Once Upon a Time’ Preview: It’s time to meet ‘Ariel’

ABC/Jack Rowand

Once Upon a Time aired what is arguably one of its best episodes ever last week when it took fans on the journey of how Killian Jones went from Naval officer to pirate. How does the show follow up such an epic hour of television? It starts by introducing one of the greatest characters of all time into the mix.

Ariel” brings the action back to the Fairy Tale Land of the past. When Snow finds herself in trouble, she’s rescued from the ocean by the infamous mermaid. A grateful Snow helps Ariel (JoAnna Garcia) get to know the man she’s already helplessly in love with – Prince Eric (Gil McKinney).

But just like the best Disney movie, things aren’t all fun and games for the little mermaid. She still has Ursula to deal with and it looks like our favorite Evil Queen will be taking on the form of the sea witch. We can’t wait to see how that goes down.

Meanwhile, in Neverland, the group organizes a search to save Neal from Pan’s encampment. We’re going to go ahead and assume that Hook did the right thing and told Emma that he was alive. We knew he was the best.
