When The Originals returns from its brief hiatus, battle lines will once again be drawn. Marcel and Rebekah are preparing an army to take Klaus down, but will they really go through with their plan to trap the Original hybrid in the garden?
Of course that won’t be the only war happening in “The River in Reverse.” As the episode stills reveal, there will be a flashback that looks suspiciously like Klaus and Elijah preparing to duel. But is this a real memory or is it something brought on by Elijah’s hallucinations as he suffers from Klaus’ poisonous bite?
Hayley remains by Elijah’s side even as he tells her to leave him. But a mysterious figure draws Hayley away to shed some light on her past. What will she learn and what does it mean for her relationship with the Mikaelson family?
