‘Arrow’ Midseason Finale Preview: Will Brother Blood Corrupt Roy?

Things have never been easy for Arrow’s Roy Harper. The wannabe hero does everything in his power to help his fellow Glades’ survivors, but it never seems to be enough. Roy teamed up with the Arrow to be his eyes and ears, but that ended last week when Oliver shot him in the leg with an arrow.

Unfortunately for Roy, things are about to get worse. The stills from the midseason finale, “Three Ghosts,” reveal that Roy has been abducted by Brother Blood. We know that the councilman has been experimenting with the miracle serum, but will Roy be the next test subject? Or does Brother Blood have something else in mind for him?

Meanwhile, Oliver has been injected with a mystery substance as well that will cause him to hallucinate. Felicity and Dig have brought Barry into the Arrow Cave to try and help save him. Judging the episode stills (and the knowledge that he’s the main character), it appears they accomplish their mission. But will the serum or Oliver’s three ghosts have a lingering effect on him?

Arrow will air its midseason finale on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 8/7c on The CW.
