‘The Vampire Diaries’ Preview: Will getting rid of Enzo stop Damon’s murderous ways?

The fifth season of The Vampire Diaries has been rough on Damon. It started off on a great note – he’d won Elena’s heart and the two had spent the summer basking in their newfound love and happiness. But all of that went out the window thanks to doppelganger prophecies, Augustine Society and Katherine.

Now that Damon thinks Elena is done with him, he’s decided to go back to being his old self. He’s done being a good guy and he’s reteamed with his former cellmate Enzo to start stirring up trouble. But that’s not going to sit well with the people who care about him and Stefan seems to be determined to pull his brother back from the ledge.

The CW has released the first video preview for “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and everyone seems curious about Enzo and what he’s doing with Damon. Stefan is not amused by Damon’s spiral and it looks like he plans to go straight to the root of the problem and remove Enzo from the equation.

Check out the video below and then hit the comments and share your thoughts with us! Do you think Stefan will succeed? Or will Damon and Enzo continue causing trouble? Are you looking forward to the showdown?

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursday, Feb. 6 at 8/7c on The CW.
