CBS released its 2014-15 Schedule this morning and the network has made a lot of interesting changes to its lineup to accommodate Thursday night football and to give its new dramas a chance to shine.
As expected, The Big Bang Theory will temporarily relocate to Monday nights until football season is over and then 2 Broke Girls will reclaim the timeslot while TBBT shifts back to Thursdays and launches the comedy block. Mom will remain on Monday nights, but will be followed by new drama Scorpion and the relocated NCIS: Los Angeles.
NCIS and Person of Interest will stay on Tuesday nights with the new NCIS spinoff, NCIS: New Orleans airing between the two. On Wednesdays, CBS will keep Survivor and Criminal Minds in their timeslots and launch new series Stalker at 10 p.m.
After football season ends, TBBT, The Millers and the final season of Two and a Half Men will return along with new comedy The McCarthys, which will lead into returning drama Elementary.
CBS has moved The Amazing Race to Fridays and slotted new drama Madame Secretary in its former place on Sundays, followed by The Good Wife and CSI. At some point, the latest spinoff CSI: Cyber will replace it.
