Bridgerton has added cast for the upcoming fifth season. Joining the Netflix series are Tega Alexander, Jacqueline Boatswain, and Gemma Knight Jones. The fifth season of Bridgerton spotlights introverted middle daughter Francesca (Hannah Dodd). Two years after losing her beloved husband John, Fran decides to reenter the marriage mart for practical reasons. But when John’s cousin Michaela (Masali Baduza) returns to London to tend to the Kilmartin estate, Fran’s complicated feelings will have her questioning whether to stick to her pragmatic intentions or pursue her inner passions.

Uma Thurman will reprise her role as Charley in the upcoming second season of Dexter: Resurrection. Thurman plays the former Special Ops officer who served as Leon Prater’s right-hand woman. Last season, after discovering Prater’s betrayal, Charley parted ways with the twisted billionaire and fled the city.

Season two of Criminal Record premieres April 22 on Apple TV. The series is a powerful, character-driven drama set in the heart of contemporary London, exploring the impossibility of policing when the truth is up for grabs. In season two, when a young man is stabbed to death at a political rally, rival police officers June Lenker and Daniel Hegarty are forced into an uneasy alliance. But what starts as a hunt for a murderer escalates into an undercover operation to foil a far-right bomb plot in the heart of London. Season two reunites Peter Capaldi as Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty and Cush Jumbo as Detective Sergeant June Lenker. Crime drama series M.I.A. premieres May 7 on Peacock with all nine episodes. Restless in the Florida Keys, Etta Tiger Jonze dreams of a life in Miami’s glittering, sub-tropical kingdom. When her family’s drug-running business shatters in tragedy, however, Etta embarks on a dangerous journey through Miami’s neon-lit underbelly that will define who she is and what she’s ultimately capable of.

Animated series My Two Cents premieres May 27 on Netflix. Zero and Cinghiale run a small business, but financial struggles, misunderstandings, and increasingly complicated personal lives begin to take their toll. The return of a figure from Zero’s past and unexpected responsibilities push an already fragile situation to the brink, forcing everyone to confront difficult choices.

It’s Not Like That will make its Prime Video debut May 15. All episodes of the series are currently available on Wonder Project’s subscription on Prime Video. At its core, the series is a universal, character-driven family drama about love, loss, and starting over. It explores multigenerational family dynamics and the complexities of rebuilding life after loss. The show blends heartfelt drama with warmth and humor, focusing on connection, second chances, and the realities of modern family life. It follows Malcolm (Scott Foley), a pastor who is a recently widowed dad of three. Lori (Erinn Hayes) is newly divorced with two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Malcolm and Lori must navigate their newly minted singledom with parenthood. Is this the beginning of a love story? It’s not like that. Or is it?
