Carrie premieres October 7 on Prime Video with all eight episodes. The Rainmaker returns for season two October 16 on USA Network. Season two of the riveting ten-episode legal drama is inspired by the John Grisham novel. The season picks back up with Rudy Baylor, an underdog lawyer taking on powerful interests alongside his boss Jocelyn “Bruiser” Stone and his right-hand man Deck Shifflet, the firm’s colorful paralegal. In a separate case, Bruiser’s ex-husband Tom Cassady turns to her for help as his legal troubles threaten his life and that of the star pitcher of the minor league baseball team he coaches.
Cupertino premieres October 8 on CBS. The series is a David vs. Goliath legal drama set in the heart of Silicon Valley. A lawyer (Mike Colter) is cheated out of his stock options by his former employer, a tech start-up. Refusing to back down, he joins forces with another recently fired attorney (Rachel Keller) to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley.

Tracker has promoted Cassady McClincy Zhang to a series regular for the upcoming fourth season. She had previously recurred in the third season of the CBS series.

ABC News announced the addition of two new co-anchors to the Good Morning America weekend team. Beginning Saturday, Sept. 12, ABC News senior political correspondent Rachel Scott will join veteran GMA weekend co-anchor Whit Johnson on Saturdays. Johnson has co-anchored GMA on weekends since 2018 and will also continue to anchor World News Tonight Saturday, as he has since 2021. On Sundays, ABC News correspondent Rhiannon Ally will join Good Morning America co-anchor and ABC News transportation correspondent Gio Benitez. Benitez has served as co-anchor since 2023. Johnson, Scott, Benitez and Ally will also anchor ABC News Live Weekend on a rotating basis on weekend mornings beginning at 10 a.m. ET on ABC News’ 24/7 streaming news channel on Disney+, Hulu and the ABC News app. Joining the two weekend anchor teams will be Leslie Lopez as GMA’s weekend meteorologist. Lopez is a seasoned meteorologist who joined the ABC News family after spending a decade at powerhouse ABC owned television station, KABC-TV.

Chilean Mine Rescue: Race Against Time premieres September 25 on National Geographic. The series tells the story of endurance, ingenuity and improbable unity behind one of history’s most challenging rescues ever attempted. It features never-before-seen cell phone footage filmed in the mine and includes powerful interviews with survivors, families and rescuers – some speaking publicly outside of local Chilean press for the first time – to tell the definitive story of the 69 days rescuers raced to save the trapped miners while the men underground fought to survive. Among those featured is Jeff Kofman, then ABC’s International Correspondent and the first international journalist on the scene, who reported from Chile as the rescue unfolded.
My Sad Dead (Mis muertos tristes) premieres September 24 on Netflix. Ema, a recently retired doctor who can see the dead, tries to come to terms with her mother’s death and her own unresolved issues. The arrival of her niece Julie and the murder of three teenagers in Piedrabuena, a neighborhood plagued by violence, trigger a strange phenomenon that disrupts the fragile balance between the living and the dead.
