Emmy Nominations 2014: HBO Leads with 99; CBS with 47

66th Primetime Emmy Awards

Nominations for the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Thursday by The Mindy Project star Mindy Kaling and The Voice’s Carson Daly. Which series earned the most acclaim? Who was snubbed?

HBO once again leads the pack, this time with an astounding 99 Emmy nominations! Game of Thrones earned 19 total nominations, followed by FX’s Fargo and American Horror Story: Coven with 18 and 17, respectively; AMC’s Breaking Bad with 16; HBO’s The Normal Heart with 16; NBC’s Saturday Night Live with 14 and Netflix’s House of Cards with 13.

For network totals, following HBO is a very distant CBS with 47 nominations, followed by NBC with 46, FX with 45, ABC with 37, PBS with 34, Netflix with 31 and Fox with 30. None for the CW or ABC Family as usual.
