It wouldn’t be May Sweeps without General Hospital’s Nurses Ball! The entertainment begins May 24th. This year the charity gala will be sponsored by Aveeno.

The Nurses Ball is less than two weeks away and we’re starting the celebration early with a little preview of the glamorous event! Over the next couple of weeks, we will be doing a pictorial countdown to the 2016 Nurses Ball featuring a Port Charles resident in their red carpet attire. We’re kicking things off with the gorgeous Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy)! Keep checking this gallery as we’ll be adding more pictures daily.

Look for fan favorite Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to return to host the big event. Some other familiar faces will also be making cameo appearances on the Ball’s red carpet. As always don’t expect everything to go as planned! Fans can expect to see a life in danger, a surprising arrest, a new couple and much more.

The first Nurses Ball aired in 1994 and later returned in 2013 after a long hiatus. The charity event is dedicated to HIV/AIDS awareness and research. You can make a contribution to this worthy cause at www.amfar.org.
