Daytime Emmy winner Hunter King’s moonlighting in primetime has paid off. The actress, who recurred as Clementine on the CBS comedy Life in Pieces, has been promoted to a contract cast member for the second season.
“To have a dramatic actress who excels at comedy is a rare find,” said executive producer Justin Adler. “From her first day on set, Hunter has felt like a member of our family, and we couldn’t be more excited to make it official.”
So how will this change affect her role on The Young and the Restless as Summer Newman? Deadline reports King will continue to be seen on The Young and the Restless, just in a recurring capacity.
