The new trailer for Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming is here. The studio released two new trailers today, one focusing on Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and one on the film’s villain Vulture (Michael Keaton).

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man, who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.  Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Sony’s made great effort to tie their Spider-Man film with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in its promotional materials, as you can see in the new poster below.

In “Official Trailer #3,” the relationship between Peter and Tony Stark is teased again, though we see Peter interacting with other characters including ones played by Donald Glover and Zendaya.

In “International Trailer #3”, you get a little insight into what’s fueling the Vulture’s hatred for superheroes. We see Vulture was a part of crew that had to clean up after the Avengers whenever they’re battles cause damage to the city.

Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters July 7, 2017.
