Guess who’s back in Salem? Soap vet Chrishell Hartley (formerly Chrishell Stause) is returning to Days of our Lives as Jordan Rideway! With brother Ben in need of an ally, it looks like his big sister will be the one in her brother’s corner!
Soap Opera Digest broke the exclusive on the actress’ return. Hartley teased her character’s return will be very different than the last time audience saw the character and even sent fans a thank you from her dressing room. “They wrote this really fun story for me which I am so excited about,” she told SOD. The actress will air in 2019.
Chrishell Hartley first won the hearts of fans as vixen-turned-heroine Amanda Dillon on ABC’s All My Children, where she starred from 2005 until the series’ network cancellation in 2011. The actress joined Days of our Lives in 2013 as Jordan Ridgeway, a focused, no-nonsense girl with a mystery past – very much the antithesis of Amanda Dillon. Hartley announced her departure from DAYS in the fall of 2014, last airing March 2015. In 2016 she had a brief recurring role on The Young and the Restless as Bethany.
Jordan originally arrived in Salem in 2013 to help rehabilitate Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and departed in 2015 following a job offer in New York City. Though she shared storylines with many, her biggest connection to the canvas is her reformed serial killer brother Ben Weston. That’s one family reunion we can’t wait to see!
