With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, TV Source Magazine wondered what our favorite Days of our Lives cast members cast members have in store for the big day. Will they spend it with their families or their significant others? Will they stuff their faces with turkey, Christmas cookies or dig into the eggnog instead? While the minor details have yet to be discussed, almost everyone will be with their families. We also took a moment during this year’s Day of Days event to ask what they are thankful for this year.

Missy Reeves: I live in Tennessee so I commute back and forth, we love to travel but holidays we stay close to home. We make fires every single day because it’s cold where we live and just focus on family time. And that’s what I’m thankful for, I’m really just thankful for my family. Both of our kids got married this past year so now we have four kids which is better, we have a bigger family. It’s all about that quality family time that you fight for because everyone is so busy.

Deidre Hall: Every-time I go to work and I slide my security card keys through the gate I’m grateful to have a job to be able to support my family, to be able not to have concerns that so many people have now. To live in a country where my children are safe, it goes on, every time I turn the news on I thank God that my family, my children, my neighborhood, my country is in fairly good hands.

Lucas Adams: I’m going to Texas for Thanksgiving, I always visit my family for thanksgiving we have a big family feast. I’m thankful for everyone in my life, my family, my friends, my beautiful girlfriend, my dog, I’m there for everyone in my life.

Sal Stowers: I love the holidays. I love the feeling that the holidays give you, makes you feel all warm and cuddly inside. I’m thankful for my life, to be in the presence of all the fans at Day of Days. I’m a very lucky girl, I have a lot to be thankful for.

Mary Beth Evans: I just became a grandmother, my son just had a baby and that’s incredible and my daughter just got married and that’s within a couple months of each other so it’s been a really incredible year for my family. My husband and I just had our 33rd wedding anniversary so it’s been great. I’m thankful for so much and we are going to spend the holidays with our whole family. Thanksgiving we all migrate to my mother-in-laws place and we will all migrate to my son’s place for Christmas. We just stay together as a family.

Casey Moss: I’m just thankful to be here, it’s a very strange time right now. I’m just glad to be here and to be able to be with my family this holiday season. I’m just grateful, because the shooting happened to close to home. I’ve been to that bar on college night so many times, I just don’t go out to the bars anymore. And so many people I know because I lived in Calabasas for 3 years have had to evacuate because of the fires. I’m glad the smoke didn’t fill the day and that everyone who traveled from all over were able to make to Day of Days and have a good time.

James Reynolds: I’m thankful for a wonderful year, it’s been a tremendous year obliviously with the Emmy last April. It’s just been a great year personally as well as professionally. This is a year that I’m really thankful for. We don’t really have any holiday plans yet, my wife is going off with her girlfriend to go scuba diving later in the year but I don’t have any plans. We are thinking about the holidays now.

Freddie Smith: For the holidays I’m going to go to Ohio that’s where my family is. I’m just super grateful for the health of me and my family. That’s all I can ever hope for. As long as we are all healthy we can keep pressing forward.

Judi Evans: My son will be home from college so I’m hoping this year we might decorate.

Suzanne Rogers: I don’t have any plans, I go out with friends that I don’t get to see very often. My mother is with me now, so we talk to everyone back east. My mother doesn’t like to fly anymore so it’s mostly phone calls because all our family is back east. And church, I go to church a lot during the holidays.

Olivia Rose Keegan: I am thankful for so much, I’m thankful for my job, my family, happinesses, food, shelter. My birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year so that will be something to celebrate. I’m doing a Friendsgivings as well. But mostly I’ll will be staying at home, I just moved into a new place with my family and we will have family visiting so a little family reunion nothing too crazy.

Kassie DePaiva: I’m thankful for God’s grace. I plan on going back to New York and spending time with my family in the Catskill Mountains.
