Was it just me or was so much packed in to this episode of Good Girls? Annie confessed to Sadie that she’s the massive dick that cheated with her dad, Mary Beth exposes Stan as Ruby’s husband to the FBI, Beth makes her husband sell literally everything he has on his lot to take care of her little murder problem, the girls find out about Beth’s bathroom rendezvous with Rio, Amber drops a bombshell on Beth, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

I’d swear this wasn’t an hour of television if I didn’t know better. Let’s dive into “Everything Must Go”.

Good Girls Recap: “Everything Must Go”
Episode 205 | Airdate: March 31, 2019

Leslie is big dead and yet he is still causing problems for all of our girls. Mary Pat is now being held in a one bed hotel room with her four kids and being questioned by the FBI. Sure, she’s lying and throwing all of our faves under the bus, but I think we can all admit that the spelling scene between her and FBI Agent Turner was hilarious. More than that, she’s just a desperate woman who’s trying to protect herself.

After her rape in episode three, I think I give Mary Pat a lot more slack than others. All I see when I look at her is a traumatized woman who doesn’t know what to do but knows that she doesn’t want to be separated from her children. Unfortunately for her, she may have Agent Turner on her side but the other good girls have Rio. And gang friend is there to clean up their mess…for $200,000.

In an attempt to get enough inventory for Dean to sell to make the girls the money they need, Beth, Annie, and Ruby go see Amber who is fresh from a failed stint in LA. She now controls the car auctions that supplies dealerships with their inventory and she’s reluctant to give Dean what he needs. Confused, she asks Beth if she’s forgiven Dean for all of his transgressions against her and their marriage, stating that she didn’t think she would be able to just forget all of those times. This prompts Beth to figure out that Amber wasn’t her husband’s only affair. In fact, he’s had affairs with four different women including Amber, one while Beth was pregnant.

Beth’s relationship with her whore of a husband isn’t her only problem unfortunately. The relationship between Beth and Annie has become increasingly strained as the season has gone on and tonight it reached its boiling point. Annie isn’t against Beth having sex. She is against Beth having sex with gang friend. Beth isn’t here for Annie’s judgment given that she’s just had her own affair with her married ex. However, Beth’s top boss bitch moment occurs at the end of the episode when she tells Dean that he’s now going to be the one staying home with the kids because “Only one of us can steer the ship.”

LOVE. THAT.

Before we go in to the next section for our next Good Girl, let’s just talk about that opening Beth scene. She touches herself imagining Rio shattering basically everything in her bedroom and can we just delve in to that for a second? Psychologically this fascinates me. Clearly Beth gets off on the power and danger that Rio represents. She’s not only drawn to it, she craves it, yearns for it. She craves Rio and all that he represents. She knows she can do bad things and wants to….there’s just this sense of morality holding her back.

Speaking of Annie, she and daughter Sadie have hit their own snag. Sadie thinks that whoever slept with her dad and thus having him cheating on step-mom Nancy is a bag of dicks. A giant massive dick. This episode, Annie confesses that she is, in fact, the giant dick. Sadie decides to go and stay with Nancy for awhile. Obviously, this is hard on her and is going to put a strain on her relationship with Annie going forward.

Stan and Ruby. Good LORD. I love them. The episode opens with Stan and Ruby going over her and the girls disposal of Boomers body in great detail, over and over. When Stan has finally exhausted Ruby after interrogating her all night, what does he do? He goes straight to work to “get ahead of it.” I stan one (1) man.

Stan keeps Ruby and thus the girls up to date on the police investigation. Where did they found the phone? The dump where Boomer ended up after the tossed him out like the garbage he was? He’s got their backs. But after Mary Pat’s admittance that one of the girls is married to a cop, where does he go from here? You’ll just have to stay tuned.
