Happy Mother’s Day to the moms who are Good Girls and happy show day for those who are not! Tonight’s episode is probably my favorite of the season, as shown by enthusiastic tweeting about it. I meant what I said, if you don’t watch tonight? I’ll judge you.
Ruby and Annie fell through on their end of the pill deal with Rio. Obviously, they’re all going to have to work that out somehow. That’s a lot of money they have to make up for and without the dealership or being able to do “surveys” what exactly are they supposed to do? It’s going to take forever.
Also over in Annie’s world, she suspects that new boyfriend/boss Noah is actually FBI working against her and her friends. But will she be able to prove it? As she tries to figure it out she urges her son to cut ties with him as well, despite him not wanting to. Noah seems to be the most normal of all of Annie’s boyfriends. But we all know that looks can be deceiving. And how is Noah feeling? Well….not good. Especially when he has to find a way back in with Annie who needs “some time” and also still work on the case that can bring her down.
Ruby and Stan need a lawyer pronto. They need to figure a way to get him off for stealing the pen cap. But a good lawyer costs a lot of money. If only Ruby knew where she could get a lot of money. If only she already had some.
Beth gets her own version of some mother’s day presents-even though it’s not currently mother’s day in their world-from Rio. A series of packages keep showing up on her doorstep all with a nice little reminder. And frankly, it’s disgusting and creepy. But hey, to each their own. Having enough of the vague clues Beth finally confronts Rio about what he wants which is, of course, compensation from the pills lost in Canada. In other news Beth and Dean come to a decision regarding their marriage and Brio fans finally get some questions about Gang Friend answered such as a first name and what his humble home looks like. Any guesses on the first name?
- “Have you ever had a lemon rind stuck in your garbage disposal?”
- “It feels good to be really good at something.”
- “Good to know. That’s totally disgusting.”
- “Yeah, man, you got dumped.”
- “Go back and see what happens when you jump.”
- “I mean every word.”
- “Thought you’d never ask.”
Tonight’s episode includes all of this and one expected twist that makes the episode MUST SEE TV.
I hope you enjoy the episode as much as I did!
