We’re only a few weeks away from the return of The Handmaid’s Tale and, ahead of the season 3 premiere, a new book has been released to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the hit Hulu series.

The Art and Making of The Handmaid’s Tale details the process of bringing the show from the pages of Margaret Atwood’s best-selling novel to the small screen. Featuring 45 exclusive interviews with cast and crew — including Atwood, Elisabeth Moss (Offred/June), Joseph Fiennes (Commander Waterford), Yvonne Strahovski (Serena Joy), Julie Berghoff (Production Designer), and Ane Crabtree (Costume Designer) — this book is the definitive guide for fans.

Flipping through the book, I was impressed by the wealth of information contained within and came away with an even greater appreciation for the show. This companion book gives insight into every aspect of the series, from the design of the Waterford’s home to the labels created for groceries. Many individuals work tirelessly behind-the-scenes each season and it is nice to see them get the spotlight here.

The Art and Making of The Handmaid’s Tale is available now wherever books are sold. The Handmaid’s Tale returns June 5, only on Hulu.
