The Coolest Collaborations for ‘Stranger Things’ Fans

0

Stranger Things returns for its highly-anticipated third season in less than two weeks and fan excitement is at an all-time high. To celebrate the launch of season 3, Netflix partnered with numerous companies for merchandise, food, and more inspired by the series. Read on for some of the coolest collaborations this side of Hawkins, Indiana…

The popular ice cream chain transformed locations nationwide into Scoops Ahoy, a new ice cream shop where Steve works in the series’ upcoming third season. Fans can dig into ice cream inspired by the characters (Elevenade Freeze, Demogorgon Sundae), purchase exclusive merchandise, and take home treats to enjoy while binging the show.

Polaroid Originals

Polaroid Originals turned their classic OneStep2 upside down — literally — in the series’ signature red and blue colors. As if that wasn’t enough, the company also released collectible film featuring graphic prints straight out of Hawkins.

Coca-Cola

Stranger Things 3 takes place in summer 1985, the same year Coca-Cola infamously debuted a new recipe of their soft drink called New Coke. Considered a failure at the time and pulled from shelves after just a few months, New Coke is back for a limited time thanks to its prominence in season three.

H&M

How do the residents of Hawkins beat the summer heat? With a trip to the Hawkins Community Pool, of course. That’s why H&M partnered with Netflix on a line of ’80s-inspired swimwear, shirts, and accessories viewers will see onscreen when Stranger Things 3 debuts.

Nike

The iconic brand is set to release two waves of Stranger Things-inspired footwear and apparel ahead of the third season. The first drop, debuting June 27, incorporates Hawkins High’s green and orange color scheme and Tiger mascot. The second drop, arriving July 1, features shoes in a red, white and blue color scheme celebrating 1985 Independence Day with a year marker on the heel and special firework display sock liner.

Mongoose

Mongoose is helping fans channel their inner ‘Mad Max’ with a special edition bike inspired by the character. Modeled after the bike Max Mayfield rides in season 3 of the show, this bike features show-inspired details, including the two rear axle pegs (where Eleven rides along), a headlamp for exploring the Upside-Down, and more! Fans can snag their own Max bike beginning June 30, exclusively at Target.

LEGO

You can bring The Upside Down into your own home with LEGO’s highly collectible playset. Including over 2,200 pieces, the model allows fans to flip between The Byers’ home and The Upside Down. LEGO spared no expense on the details: The living room features authentic details from the series, like the alphabet wall with a light-up function and The Upside Down set captures the look and feel from the Netflix original series with creepy vines, dark coloring, and a dilapidated look. The best part? Both sets can be built at the same time, making this the perfect shared activity with your own Stranger Things crew.

Stranger Things 3 drops Thursday, July 4 only on Netflix.
