Hello, you. It looks like more of You is on the way. Netflix’s popular psychological thriller will return for a third season in 2021 with stars Penn Badgley (Joe) and Victoria Pedretti (Love) set to return. Netflix announced the news January 14, 2020. The Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti executive produced series will have another 10-episode order.

Based on the books YOU and Hidden Bodies from author Caroline Kepnes, the series asks the question, “What would you do for love?”. In Season one, Joe crosses paths with an aspiring writer and he’s willing to do anything to get the girl. She becomes the object of his obsession, ultimately leading to him committing murders — some to “protect” her, others to protect his secrets. In Season 2, Joe flees to LA where he’s looking for a fresh start (and hiding out from his ex who decides to make him the prey) and finds new love in a way he didn’t expect.

The series originally premiered on Lifetime before moving to Netflix for its second season. You has seen a popularity surge, and with fans buzzing after sophomore season that ended with a time jump, it’s no surprise a new season was ordered.
