Teen drama series Elite has been renewed for season six ahead of its fifth season. The Spanish language Netflix series will also have three new shorts for its Elite: Short Stories companion series. The episodes will be holiday themed and will premiere December 15, December 20 and December 23. 

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is set to appear in the upcoming final season of ABC’s black-ish. No details on the episode she will be appearing in yet, but she will be playing herself and it will air sometime in 2022. ABC has yet to set a premiere date for the eight season. 

Taye Diggs, Ne-Yo, Eric Bellinger are set to headline two variety specials to air on The CW. The Black Pack: We Three Kings and The Black Pack: Excellence will celebrate excellence and camaraderie through varied musical performances and lighthearted repartee while inviting audiences to snuggle close to those they love, laugh and sing along with classic music. Guests including Bre-Z, Tank, Sevyn Streeter and Jordin Sparks will make appearances. Holiday themed The Black Pack: We Three Kings will premiere November 29. 

Peacock’s upcoming holiday competition series Baking It is set to premiere December 2. All six episodes of the series hosted by Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg will premiere at once. Eight teams of two will work together to create outstanding savory and sweet creations for themed challenges with the hopes of winning a cash prize. 

Garrett Clayton has been cast in the live-action Fairly Odd Parents series for Paramount+. His role will be recurring but it isn’t clear who he will be portraying yet. 

Fox has ordered a new animated series set to premiere in 2023 called Grimsburg. Jon Hamm is set to voice detective Marvin Flute for the series. Marvin Flute may be the greatest detective ever to catch a cannibal clown or correctly identify a mid-century modern armoire. But there’s one mystery he still can’t crack — his family.  Now that he’s back in Grimsburg, a town where everyone has a secret or three, Flute will follow every lead he’s got to redeem himself with the ex-wife he never stopped loving, even if it means hanging out with the son he never bothered to get to know.

Benedict Wong, Tsai Chin, John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Jovan Adepo, Eiza Gonzalez, Jess Hong, Marlo Kelly, Alex Sharp, Sea Shimooka, Zine Tseng and Saamer Usmani have been cast in Netflix’s upcoming new drama series 3 Body Problem. The series is an adaptation of the Liu Cixin sci-fi trilogy series of the same name. 

NBC’s upcoming new series That’s My Jam hosted by Jimmy Fallon is set to get a special preview in a sneak peek episode set to air November 29. The episode will feature the judges of The Voice, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. The rest of the season will premiere in 2022. 

Crafting competition series Meet Your Makers Showdown is set to premiere on discovery+ November 27. Starring Chrissy Metz and LeAnn Rimes, the series will spotlight four of the world’s finest makers who will compete in challenges that test their ingenious creativity, unique skills and passion for their craft. 

Paramount+’s upcoming singing competition series Queen of the Universe has set its judging panel. Vanessa Williams, Michelle Visage, Trixie Mattel, and Leona Lewis will help judge the talent. Graham Norton is set as host and will premiere December 2.

Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff is set to marry her fiance in a wedding special for TLC. Amy & Chris’s Happily Ever After pulls back the veil on the weeks leading up to the wedding, from food tastings to farm renovations to decor decisions, and culminates with the highly anticipated wedding. The special will air November 9.   

Disney Junior has ordered a new animated adventure series Firebuds. The series follows a team of young first responders and their talking vehicles. It will premiere in 2022. 

TBS and Cartoon Networks upcoming Harry Potter gameshow Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses premieres November 28. The four episode event will be hosted by Helen MIrren. Tom Felton, Simon Fisher-Becker, Shirley Henderson, Luke Youngblood, will make appearances along with superfans Pete Davidson and Jay Leno. Check out the trailer. 

Fox’s upcoming country music drama Monarch released its first trailer ahead of its premiere on January 30. The series stars Susan Sarandon, Anna Friel, Trace Adkins, Josh Sasse, Beth Ditto, Meagan Holder, Inigo Pascual, Martha Higareda and Emma Milani.

HBO’s limited series Landscapers will premiere  December 6. Starring David Thewlis and Olivia Colman, the series follows a seemingly ordinary British couple who become the focus of an extraordinary investigation when two dead bodies are discovered in the back garden of a house in Nottingham. 

EPIX has released the first teaser trailer for horror series From. The series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. It will premiere February 20.
