ABC’s upcoming limited series Women Of The Movement is set to premiere January 6. The six episode series follows the true story of Mamie Till-Mobley, who in 1955 risked her life to find justice after her son Emmett was brutally murdered in the Jim Crow South. Unwilling to let Emmett’s murder disappear from the headlines, Mamie chose to bear her pain on the world’s stage, emerging as an activist for justice and igniting the Civil Rights movement as we know it today.
CBS has given a full season order to their new comedy series Ghosts. A young couple played by Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar move into an older home, only to find out that she can see the ghosts who reside in the house. The series is a remake of the British series of the same name. It’s the first full season order for a comedy this season.
Apple TV+ has renewed comedy series Mythic Quest for seasons three and four. The series stars Rob McElhenney as the creative mind behind a video game company as he and the rest of the employees at the company manage to somehow keep the game afloat. All this will seemingly change after the events of the second season finale.
