Netflix’s upcoming reboot of Rebelde has been given a premiere date. The new series will begin streaming January 5. The Mexican series also released the first music video for the series with an updated song from the original series. 

ABC’s upcoming limited series Women Of The Movement is set to premiere January 6. The six episode series follows the true story of Mamie Till-Mobley, who in 1955 risked her life to find justice after her son Emmett was brutally murdered in the Jim Crow South. Unwilling to let Emmett’s murder disappear from the headlines, Mamie chose to bear her pain on the world’s stage, emerging as an activist for justice and igniting the Civil Rights movement as we know it today.

CBS has given a full season order to their new comedy series Ghosts. A young couple played by Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar move into an older home, only to find out that she can see the ghosts who reside in the house. The series is a remake of the British series of the same name. It’s the first full season order for a comedy this season. 

Apple TV+ has renewed comedy series Mythic Quest for seasons three and four. The series stars Rob McElhenney as the creative mind behind a video game company as he and the rest of the employees at the company manage to somehow keep the game afloat. All this will seemingly change after the events of the second season finale. 

After ten seasons, Jesse Spencer has exited Chicago Fire. His character exited during the 200th episode after making the decision to move to Oregon and raise the kids of a character who died in the season premiere. 

Season two of Gen:Lock is set to premiere on HBO Max November 4. The animated series stars Michael B. Jordan and explores technology’s effect on humanity. The first season aired on Rooster Teeth FIRST. 

Claire Holt is set to make an appearance on the current fourth season of Legacies. Holt’s character, Rebekah Mikaelson, first appeared on The Vampire Diaries then made her way to the spinoff series The Originals. The episode she will appear in will air November 11 on The CW.

Tyler Perry’s Sistas has been renewed for a fourth season on BET. The network has also scheduled a special episode The Tyler Perry Show: The Sistas After-Show Edition for December 22. 

Season two of South Side is set to premiere on HBO Max November 11. The series initially aired on Comedy Central for the first season. 

Rachel Bloom and Aline Brosh McKenna have teamed up again on a new project for hulu. Badass (And Her Sister) is a comedy series which sees Bloom play a spy who gets tired of that life and moves in with her pushover twin sister, also played by Bloom. The two previously worked together on The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. 

As a part of Disney+ Day, a new special titled Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett will begin streaming November 12. The special will be celebrating the origins and legacy of Star Wars’  legendary bounty hunter, Boba Fett. The special comes ahead of The Book of Boba Fett’’s premiere December 29. 

HBO Max’s Tom and Jerry in New York is set to premiere season two on November 18. 

Netflix is set to become the home for Power Rangers. The upcoming new series of Power Rangers Dino Fury will premiere in the spring. 

Season three of Looney Tunes Cartoons is set to premiere on HBO Max November 25. 

Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville is set to narrate two wildlife series for Smithsonian Channel. First up, Wild Tales from the Farm, is set to premiere November 5. The Crown’s Ancient Forest will premiere December 1. 

The second season of My Sesame Street Friends will premiere on HBO Max November 11. 

Funimation confirmed that it will be airing the fourth season of historical anime Kingdom in spring 2022. The series follows a young slave with dreams of being a general and a young king who wishes to unite his country. 

Animaniacs returns for season two on hulu November 5. The trailer for the new season is out now.
