As announced last week, after the successful launch of the Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem limited series in September, Peacock has ordered Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas, the first holiday movie from the daytime drama. Additional casting has been revealed for the series, including Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Young and the Restless star Eileen Davidson and longtime star Alison Sweeney.
Alison Sweeney will reprise her over two-decade role as Sami Brady DiMera, bringing the fan-favorite troublemaker, who doesn’t let anything stand in the way of getting what she wants, back to Salem.
Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas follows Will Horton (played by Daytime Emmy winner Chandler Massey) as he writes a screenplay before his Christmas Eve deadline. Using everyone’s favorite feel-good holiday movie tropes, he creates a festive story based on his family and friends in Salem — but with several twists and turns you’ll never see coming. The film will air December 16 exclusively on Peacock.
The Peacock Original holiday movie also stars Deidre Hall (Dr. Marlena Evans Black), Eileen Davidson, Jackée Harry (Paulina Price), Drake Hogestyn (John Black), Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez), Chandler Massey (Will Horton), Ari Zucker (Nicole Walker), Raven Bowens (Chanel Price), Eric Martsolf (Brady Black), Billy Flynn (Chad DiMerq), Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis), Lindsay Arnold (Allie Horton), Lucas Adams (Tripp Dalton), Carson Boatman (Johnny DiMera), Greg Rikaart (Leo Stark), Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera), Zach Tinker (Sonny Kiriakis) and Blake Berris (Nick Fallon).
Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas is produced by Corday Productions in association with Sony Pictures Television. Ken Corday is the executive producer with co-executive producer Albert Alarr. Ron Carlivati serves as head writer.
New episodes of Days of our Lives air weekdays on NBC and are available to stream exclusively on Peacock for free.
