Star Wars The Book of Boba Fett will premiere on Disney+ December 29. The seven episode season finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate. The series will see Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen reprise their role from the second season of The Mandalorian.
ABC’s Judge Steve Harvey is set to premiere January 4 at 8. Real life people with real life conflicts will present their case in his courtroom, ranging from family disputes, unpaid bets, sour friendships and everything in between. With the help of Nancy, his trusted bailiff by trade, Steve plays by his own rules, basing his courtroom on his own life experiences and some good old common sense.
USA Network and Syfy have renewed Chucky for season two. The first season finale airs November 30 at 10.
Nicole Byer’s first Netflix comedy special Nicole Byer: BBW (Big Beautiful Weirdo) is set to premiere December 7. Filmed at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City, Nicole will tackle everything from how she basically is a vegan (she’s just doing her part), what she’s looking for in a man, and just how crazy this past year-and-a-half has been.
Netflix’s Coming Out Colton premieres December 3. The series follows Colton Underwood’s story of self-discovery coming out as a gay man, including addressing his past and embracing his place in the LGBTQ community. The trailer is out now.
NBC will be celebrating New Years Eve with Miley Cyrus. Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party Hosted by Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson will be an all star celebration featuring special guests and musical performances. It will air live on December 31 from Miami, Florida and Lorne Michaels will executive produce the event.
Jules Verne’s novel Around the World in 80 Days is being adapted for TV starring David Tennant and is set to premiere in January. The series has been renewed for a second season ahead of its launch. It was also announced that Verne’s novel Journey to the Centre of the Earth is also going to be adapted for TV. The series stars Stephen Merchant and Christopher Walken.
Amazon Prime Video has renewed The Outlaws for season two ahead of its first season premiere in 2022. The series follows seven strangers from different walks of life who are forced together to complete a Community Payback sentence in Bristol, England.
NBC has added more special guests for Christmas in Rockefeller Center. Jose Feliciano & CNCO, Pentatonix and Cast of Broadway’s Come from Away will join previously announced performers Alessia Cara, Harry Connick Jr., Mickey Guyton, Norah Jones, Brad Paisley, Rob Thomas, Carrie Underwood and the Radio City Rockettes. Chefs from across the country are set to take on chef Alex Guarnaschelli in Food Network’s new series Alex vs America. Over the course of five weeks, 15 chefs from across the United States take their best shot at beating Alex for the ultimate culinary triumph. Hosted by chef Eric Adjepong, the series will premiere January 2 with a special preview airing December 25.
HGTV has ordered a second season of ten new episodes of No Demo Reno. The series hosted by designer Jenn Todryk tears down the notion that major demolition is always necessary to create whole home transformations. The new episodes will premiere summer 2022.
