0

The battle for the soul of The Valley is almost here. Netflix is closing out 2021 with the return of the hit TV series Cobra Kai. To celebrate, read on for six teasers to tide you over until season 4.

The Past Is Present

The re-introduction of villainous Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) naturally looms large over the season. Terry’s return also brings newly-created flashbacks to his past with John Kreese (Martin Kove) and the untold origins of Cobra Kai.

Hello, Nice To Meet You

While the OG Cobra Kai characters are busy contemplating a life beyond high school this season, new students are introduced to set up the next generation of karate champions. Among them: Kenny (Dallas Dupree Young), a new student at West Valley struggling with bullying and a complicated family life — including ties to a surprising character.

Family Matters

Speaking of complicated family lives: one of Tory’s (Peyton List) relatives appears for the first time this season. Their arrival will force Tory to turn to an unlikely ally for help.

Secrets, Secrets Are No Fun

Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Carmen Diaz (Vanessa Rubio) have kept their on- and off-relationship a secret from her son, Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), since season 2. However, secrets always have a way of coming out…and theirs won’t stay hidden for much longer.

American Idol

The All Valley Tournament is a time for big face-offs, major revelations, and…singing? Look for a big-name artist to cameo during the event and cover an iconic song from a certain 1984 film.

The Winner Takes It All

While we would be remiss to spoil the outcome of the All Valley Tournament, rest assured there are plenty of shocks in store. In fact, one match, in particular, has more to it than meets the eye.

Cobra Kai season 4 arrives December 31, 2021, only on Netflix.

Cobra Kai takes place over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament with the continuation of the inescapable conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka).

Season 4 finds the Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos joining forces to take down Cobra Kai at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament… and whoever loses must hang up their gi. As Samantha and Miguel try to maintain the dojo alliance and Robby goes all in at Cobra Kai, the fate of the Valley has never been more precarious. What tricks does Kreese have up his sleeve? Can Daniel and Johnny bury their decades-long hatchet to defeat Kreese? Or will Cobra Kai become the face of karate in the valley?
