CBS announced today that they have renewed three of their comedy series, Ghosts, The Neighborhood, and Bob Hearts Abishola. The three series join the already renewed Young Sheldon for the 2022-23 season.
Ghosts will return for a second season after a promising start in the ratings, making it the most watched new comedy series. Ghosts stars Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky and Devan Chandler Long. The series airs Thursdays at 9.
The Neighborhood will return for season five. The Neighborhood stars Cedric the Entertainer, Max Greenfield, Beth Behrs, Tichina Arnold, Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears and Hank Greenspan. The series airs Mondays at 8.
Bob Hearts Abishola will be back for a fourth season. The series stars Billy Gardell, Folake Olowofoyeku, Christine Ebersole, Matt Jones, Maribeth Monroe, Vernee Watson, Shola Adewusi, Barry Shabaka Henley, Travis Wolfe, Jr., Gina Yashere, Bayo Akinfemi and Anthony Okungbowa. The series airs Mondays at 8:30.
The announced renewals leave B Positive and United States of Al as the only comedy series still awaiting a pick up, in addition to the upcoming new comedy series How We Roll (fka Smallwood). Decisions on these series will likely come later.
