Peacock’s new comedy series Bust Down stars Jak Knight, Langston Kerman, Sam Jay and Chris Redd as four casino employees living dead-end lives with dead-end jobs in middle America, and the massive mess they manage to make out of it. The six episode season will premiere March 10.

Showtime’s The Circus returns for season seven starting March 6. Hosted by John Heilemann, Mark McKinnon, Alex Wagner, and Jennifer Palmieri, the 16-episode season will air in two parts of eight episodes apiece, with the program returning in the fall for the second installment.

ABC has released trailers for their returning drama series A Million Little Things and Big Sky. A Million Little Things returns February 23 at 10 while Big Sky returns February 24 at 10. 

An all new episode of Saturday Night Live is coming January 28. Willem Dafoe is set as the host of the night. Katy Perry will be performing as musical guest. There are no scheduled episodes beyond this episode with the Winter Olympics about to start. Announcements will be made at a later date. 

Nickelodeon has ordered a thirteen episode second season of buddy comedy series That Girl Lay Lay. The series follows Lay Lay, an avatar from a personal affirmation app that magically comes to life, and her best friend Sadie as they navigate life as teenagers and discover who they truly are. The new season will bring more music and magical powers as the two best friends continue to go on even more exciting adventures, working to fulfill Lay Lay’s desire to experience everything that comes with being a real teenager.

Elizabeth Mitchell will be returning for Disney+’s The Santa Clause series. Mitchell played Carol/Mrs. Clause in the second and third films. 

Alex Moffat has joined the cast of Apple TV+’s upcoming series Bad Monkey as recurring. The series stars Vince Vaughn and is an adaptation of the novel by Carl Hiaasen. 

Adam Brody has joined the cast of FX’s limited series Fleishman is in Trouble. Also starring in the series are Jesse Eisenberg, Lizzy Caplan and Claire Danes. 

Gayle King has signed a deal to remain at CBS News. The CBS This Morning co-anchor’s contract was expiring but the new deal will keep her at the network longer. 

To celebrate Black History Month, ABC News has set two specials to air on ABC on February 3. Soul of a Nation Presents: Screen Queens Rising will be hosted by Linsey Davis and Deborah Roberts. The special explores how Black actresses, a historically overlooked and under-valued group in Hollywood, have in recent years begun to ascend to the top echelons of entertainment and American culture. The special examines how Black actresses of Hollywood have become power brokers and the iconic moments and roles have paved the way for them today. Soul of a Nation Presents: X / o n e r a t e d – The Murder of Malcolm X and 55 Years to Justice profiles Muhammad Abdul Aziz, a man who was wrongfully convicted of Malcolm X’s assassination. Featuring the first TV interview with Aziz since his exoneration, conducted by Byron Pitts, the special retraces Malcolm X’s shocking 1965 assassination, Aziz’s decades behind bars and on parole, and the devastating impact on Aziz’s family.

Aaron Ashmore is set to recur on the second season of Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia. Ashmore will portray the role of Georgia’s ex. He currently stars in Netflix’s Locke & Key. 

Crackle Plus has announced a new series titled Inside the Black Box, hosted by Emmy Award winner and NAACP Image Awards recipient Joe Morton and celebrity acting coach, casting director, and producer Tracey Moore. The ten episode season will feature interviews and performance aspects as the hosts interact with celebrity guests. The series will premiere in February. 

NBC has announced the special guests and stars who will be featured in the upcoming primetime special Celebrating Betty White: America’s Golden Girl. President Joe Biden, Drew Barrymore, Valerie Bertinelli, Cher, Bryan Cranston, Ted Danson, Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Goldie Hawn, Vicki Lawrence, Jane Leeves, Jay Leno, Anthony Mackie, Wendie Malick, Joel McHale, Tracy Morgan, Jean Smart, Mary Steenburgen and more will come together to pay tribute to the late actress and animal advocate. It will air January 31. 

Comedy Central’s South Park returns for season 25 February 2. The six episode new season marks the first full season since 2019. Two specials aired on Paramount+ in November and December.

Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber is the first installment of Showtime’s new anthology series. Starring Emmy winner Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emmy winner Kyle Chandler and Oscar and Emmy nominee Uma Thurman, the first season is based on Mike Isaac’s bestselling book “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber.” It will premiere February 27.

In honor of the first three episodes of Apple TV+’s new series The Afterparty being released today, the streamer has released the complete first episode for free on YouTube. The eight episode murder mystery series stars Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, Ben Schwartz, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, Jamie Demetriou and Dave Franco.

Disney Channel’s Big City Greens returns for a new season February 12. The series was recently picked up for a fourth season as well as a musical movie. 

Cooking competition series Rat in the Kitchen premieres on TBS March 31. The series is hosted by Natasha Leggero and celebrity chef Ludo Lefebvre. A mix of professional chefs and passionate home cooks compete in a series of creative cooking challenges, earning cash in their bank for every dish that impresses Chef Ludo, while attempting to expose an undercover mole (the rat) determined to sabotage the dishes and undermine their chances at victory. At the close of each episode, both cooks and viewers will determine who they believe is the rat. If the cooks guess correctly, they win their bank but if successfully duped, then the rat walks away with the cheddar. 

Netflix’s upcoming series Forecasting Love and Weather premieres February 12. Inside a national weather service, love proves just as difficult to predict as rain or shine for a diligent forecaster and her free-spirited co-worker.
