HBO’s limited series Irma Vep, starring Alicia Vikander will premiere June 6. Mira is an American movie star disillusioned by her career and a recent breakup, who comes to France to star as “Irma Vep” in a remake of the French silent film classic, “Les Vampires.” Set against the backdrop of a lurid crime thriller, Mira struggles as the distinctions between herself and the character she plays begin to blur and merge. The series reveals to us the uncertain ground that lies at the border of fiction and reality, artifice and authenticity, art and life. 

EPIX has renewed sci-fi horror series From for a second season of ten episodes. The series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. In season two, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers. It will premiere in 2023. 

Michael Shannon and John Leguizamo are set to reprise their roles from the Paramount Network series Waco in American Tragedies: Waco – The Trials for Paramount+. The six episode limited series will also star Giovanni Ribisi, David Costabile, J. Smith Cameron, John Hoogenakker, Keean Johnson and Abbey Lee. The series will explore the wide-ranging fallout succeeding the tragic events that took place in Waco, TX, and the uneven scales of justice the surviving Branch Davidians faced. 

Alexa Mansour will recur in the upcoming second season of Fox’s Fantasy Island. She will make her first appearance in the second episode of the season. Frankie J. Alvarez, Jai Rodriguez, and Izzy Diaz will also guest star in the same episode. The transformations continue when two former high school losers come to the Island hoping to make their onetime classmates envious of their new lives. Also, three friends attempt to find out what happened to a fourth companion, who mysteriously vanished decades ago. An empty-nester couple also arrives to determine whether or not to divorce. The new season premieres May 31. 

The three part season twelve The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion will premiere May 3 on Bravo with the first part. Andy Cohen will sit down with Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Jackie Goldschneider, and Jennifer Aydin to rehash and relive this season’s most dramatic moments. 

HBO’s upcoming series The Idol is pausing to make changes to the series creatively and with its cast. The drama series comes from Sam Levinson and The Weeknd, who is also starring. The series has been in production and scenes will have to be refilmed depending on the changes made. 

Docuseries The U.S. and the Holocaust will premiere on PBS September 18,. The three episode series from filmmakers Ken Burns, Lynn Novick and Sarah Botstein explores the U.S. role before, during and after one of the greatest humanitarian crises in history. Narrated by Peter Coyote, the series also Includes the voices of Liam Neeson, Matthew Rhys, Helena Zengel, Paul Giamatti, Meryl Streep, Werner Herzog, Joe Morton, Hope Davis, Bradley Whitford and Helena Zengel. 

BET+’s original series Kingdom Business will premiere May 19. Yolanda Adams and Serayah star in the music drama. The eight-episode series explores the gospel music industry through the multiple lenses of family, faith, love and the redemptive power of music in a way we have never seen before. 

New E! series Mathis Family Matters premieres June 19. The docuseries follows Judge Greg Mathis and his family as they navigate through life, love and Hollywood. Judge Mathis and his wife, Linda Mathis and their four grown children – Jade Mathis, Camara Mathis Webb, Greg Mathis, Jr., and Amir Mathis – along with their own careers, relationships, personalities, and off the wall dynamics are ready to take Los Angeles by storm.
