HBO’s The Gilded Age has promoted thirteen recurring cast members to series regular for the recently ordered second season. Thos promoted are Kelli O’Hara as Aurora Fane, Donna Murphy as Mrs. Astor, Debra Monk as Armstrong, Kristine Nielsen as Mrs. Bauer, Taylor Richardson as Bridget, Ben Ahlers as Jack Trotter, Kelley Curran as Turner, Douglas Sills as Baudin aka Borden, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Mrs. Bruce, Michael Cerveris as Watson, Erin Wilhelmi as Adelheid Weber, Patrick Page as Richard Clay and Sullivan Jones as T. Thomas Fortune. Thomas Cocquerel who played Thomas Raikes will not return for the second season. Returning as recurring in season two are Audra McDonald as Dorothy Scott, Nathan Lane as Ward McAllister, John Douglas Thompson as Arthur Scott, Ashlie Atkinson as Mamie Fish, Claybourne Elder as John Adams and Ward Horton as Charles Fane.

Bling Empire returns for a second season May 13 on Netflix. Los Angeles’s beloved uber-rich Asians are back with even more luxury, glamor and crazy. This season, a romance between Kevin and Kim percolates, Cherie and Jessey’s relationship is questioned, and as Kane and Kevin’s best bud friendship is tested, Beverly Hills’s rivaling queens, Christine and Anna, put a new twist on the art of social warfare. But through it all, the one thing these friends hold dearest to their hearts is their love for each other… and of course, impeccable style

Following the series finale of comedy series black-ish, a sendoff celebration special will air on ABC. black-ish: A Celebration will feature an exclusive look at the final table read plus original audition tapes. It will also feature interviews with cast, crew and guest stars of the show’s eight seasons. 

New episode of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure STONE OCEAN will premiere on Netflix in 2022 with episodes 13 through 24. When Jolyne Cujoh and her boyfriend get in an accident while out on a drive, she is framed for the crime and sentenced to 15 years in prison. Will she ever be free from this prison – this stone ocean? The final battle in the century-spanning, intertwining fate of the Joestar family and DIO begins!

SNL will air a new episode April 16 on NBC. Lizzo will serve as host for the first time. She will also serve as the musical guest, doing double duty. This will be her second time performing on the series.

MLB and Peacock have announced the title of the upcoming new exclusive Sunday morning baseball package. MLB Sunday Leadoff will premiere May 8 with Boston Red Sox hosting Chicago White Sox from Fenway Park at 11:30 AM on Peacock and NBC. The seventeen following games will air exclusively on Peacock.  

After Jackie will premiere on The History Channel June 18. The special will air in celebration of the 75th Anniversary Year of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball. It tells the untold story of the next generation of black baseball players who fought for racial equality in the sport after Robinson including Bill White, Curt Flood and Bob Gibson. It will be executive produced by LeBron James and Stanley Nelson. 

Andrew Walker has signed an exclusive deal with Crown Media Family Networks. Walker has appeared in many of Hallmark Channel’s original movies and will continue to do so. 

Paranormal superstar Zak Bagans has signed a three year deal with discovery+. The new deal will bring more of his signature spooky and evocative content to the digital streaming platform through 2025. Bagans will create, star in and produce over 100 hours of supernatural and horror content for the discovery+ portfolio, including new seasons of the hit series Ghost Adventures, semi-scripted series The Haunted Museum and several additional specials and untitled creative projects in the works. 

Mary J. Blige is set to receive the Icon Award at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. Blige will also perform at the ceremony. It will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas May 15 on NBC. 

Season two of The Future Diary will premiere on Netflix May 17. A brand-new love story unfolds when a young office worker in Tokyo finds herself caught between a charming bartender and a handsome medical student.

Smithsonian Channel and partners launch the Color of Care Campaign to eliminate racial disparities in healthcare. The Color of Care will premiere May 1, executive produced by Oprah Winfrey.
