Stranger Things Season Four Volume 1 premieres on Netflix May 27. It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down. Netflix also put together recaps for the first three seasons ahead of the premiere. 

Janelle James is set to host ABC’s upcoming game show The Final Straw. The stakes are high as four teams of colorful contestants face off to combat tremendous tipping towers. Each life-sized themed tower is chock full of various objects ranging from basketballs to small kitchen appliances as contestants try to successfully pull items from the stack without tipping it over in order to earn prizes. If the tower falls, the team is eliminated; and the last team standing will compete against The Mega Stack, an epic battle of physics where the odds are literally stacked against them, in hopes of winning a life-changing grand prize of up to $250,000 with the option to walk away or risk it all. The series premieres July 10. 

Prime Video has ordered animated series The Hospital. The two season order follows daring alien surgeons (and inseparable best friends) Sleech and Klak as they take on the most challenging cases in the galaxy. Keke Palmer, Greta Lee, Kieran Culkin, Sam Smith, Maya Rudolph and Natasha Lyonne star. 

Season six of Summer Camp Island will premiere on HBO Max June 9. The animated series follows a group of kids at a magical summer camp and the mischief they get into. 

Blood & Treasure season two will air on Paramount+ July 17. The first season aired on CBS back in 2019. The adventure series stars Matt Barr who will lead The CW’s Walker: Independence this fall making the chances of a third season unlikely. 

Endeavour will be ending with its upcoming ninth season. The Masterpiece series is a prequel series to the series Inspector Morse. Season eight will premiere June 19. 

HBO Max and Cartoon Network have ordered Scooby-Doo! And the Mystery Pups. The first ever Scooby-Doo preschool series will premiere in 2024. As counselors in a lakeside sleepaway camp, Scooby and Shaggy don’t know much about canoes and archery, but they do know how to solve a mystery! In a summer filled with nature hikes, rafting trips and fireside ghost stories, the goofy, good-hearted and can-do duo will share their love for chasing clues with three young camper pups destined to become their own preschool version of Mystery Incorporated. 

Vanessa Hudgens is set to host the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards. The event will air live from Los Angeles June 5 on MTV and simulcast on The CW, BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nick at Nite, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land and VH1. 

Charlotte Spencer will not be returning for season three of PBS’ Sandition. Spencer starred in the first two seasons of the series. Season three will return in 2023. 

Ricky Martin is set to star in Apple TV+’s American Pie. The ten episode comedy series also stars Kristen Wiig, Alison Janney and Leslie Bibb. 

Freevee is developing a half hour romantic comedy series called Arranged from Gloria Calderón Kellett and Taran Killam. Killam will also star in the potential series. 

Okieriete Onaodowan has joined the cast of AMC’s Demascus. The sci fi comedy series will premiere in 2023. 

Docuseries Me or the Menu will premiere on Food Network June 30. The series finds four couples trying to beat the odds of ending up in divorce court, while also navigating the unique challenges of the cutthroat restaurant industry. shines a spotlight on some of the reasons that approximately 60 percent of restaurants fail and nearly 50 percent of marriages end in divorce, and while some of the featured couples have just opened the doors of their new restaurants, others are diving-in headfirst hoping to make it to opening day. Despite being at different stages of their journeys, each couple feels the pressure to make their business and their relationship a success, but balancing a stressful restaurant start-up and the needs of a significant other may prove to be the ultimate test. These couples know that if they want to keep their restaurant dreams alive it won’t be easy, but they hope it will be worth it. 

Disney+’s America the Beautiful will premiere July 4. Narrated by Michael B. Jordan, the series is the jaw-dropping story of our homeland and its amazing animals. Season six of People Magazine Investigates will premiere on Investigation Discovery June 6. Viewers are taken to the scene of the crime and reveal shocking twists and surprising new details through exclusive interviews, archival footage and emotional first-hand accounts from survivors.

Hard Knocks in Season: The Arizona Cardinals premieres on HBO later this year. The weekly series delivers its signature all access coverage to document an NFL franchise in-season and in real time, following the Cardinals as they navigate the challenges of an NFL season and battle to return to the post-season.

Jimmy Kimmel Live: NBA Finals Game Night returns this year for the 2022 NBA Finals on ABC for a fifteenth year in a row. Adam Sandler, Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Martin Lawrence and Samuel L. Jackson are all set to appear as guests. 

Mo Willems’ Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Underground Rock Experience will premiere on HBO Max June 30. The animated musical event is based on the beloved children’s book. It stars Jordan Fisher, Yvette Nicole Brown, Kate Micucci, Kevin Michael Richardson, Ron Funches, Carol Kane, Thomas Lennon, Jenna Ushkowitz, and more.
