The Umbrella Academy has been renewed for a fourth and final season on Netflix. Cast set to reprise their roles in the final season include Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore. Season two of Apple TV+’s The Problem with Jon Stewart premieres October 7. The new season will consist of six episodes. Joe Pesci will star in Peacock’s new Pete Davidson comedy series Bupkis. The series is a heightened, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life. The series will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known. He will play Davidson’s grandfather and Edie Falco also stars as Davidson’s mom.
Ewan McGregor will star in Showtime’s upcoming drama series A Gentleman in Moscow. The series is an adaptation of Amor Towles’ novel. McGregor will lead the cast as Count Alexander Rostov who, in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution, finds that his gilded past places him on the wrong side of history. Spared immediate execution, he is banished by a Soviet tribunal to an attic room in the opulent Hotel Metropol, threatened with death if he ever sets foot outside again. AMC has re-titled their upcoming Maggie and Negan The Walking Dead spinoff series. Previously announced as Isle of the Dead, the series will now be known as The Walking Dead: Dead City.
