ABC has given a full season order to freshman drama series The Rookie: Feds. The series is a spinoff of the long running drama series The Rookie. The season will consist of 22 episodes and follows the oldest FBI rookie played by Niecy Nash-Betts. 

AMC has changed the premiere date of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches to January 8 on AMC+ and AMC. The series is the second series in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe after Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire. The eight episode series focuses on an intuitive young neurosurgeon, Rowan, who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations. 

For the first time, Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez’s masterwork One Hundred Years of Solitude will be adapted as a series on Netflix. They shared the first images of Macondo, which will be brought to life in Colombia, across the extensive and diverse geography of the country. 

The new season of Breathe Into The Shadows premieres on Prime Video November 9. J’s existence and ideology re-emerge as he sets out to finish what he started, leading Avinash to confront his merging dual identity. But this time around, he has a new partner-in-crime, Victor. Kabir Sawant must now fight the battle of his life as he protects the society that has become a victim in the endgame of this crazed saga. 

HBO’s docuseries Shaq premieres November 23. The four episode series details the life and career of NBA Hall of Famer and multi-hyphenate Shaquille O’Neal. Featuring a series of revealing interviews with O’Neal, the series tells the story of a basketball legend unlike any other, whose larger-than-life personality transcended the sport and transformed him into a cultural icon. The documentary series chronicles Shaq’s ascent to superstardom, as a dominant force who won four NBA championships, league MVP honors, and changed the game. It also encompasses his life off the court, from his upbringing in a military family to his deepest personal relationships and prosperous broadcasting and business careers. 

Diane Sawyer will sit down with Matthew Perry for an exclusive broadcast interview on ABC October 28. The interview comes ahead of the release of his new book, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing: A Memoir.” In the special, Perry shares his experience with success, fame, his struggle with addiction, and life today. It also features never before shared details from behind the scenes of Friends and Perry’s near-death experience that left him in a coma for nearly 14 days. 

FOX Sports signed an exclusive, multi-platform deal to deliver the 2023 World Baseball Classic to fans in the U.S. The global tournament begins on March 7, 2023 from stadiums in Japan, Taiwan and the United States. The 47 tournament games will air across FOX, FS1, FS2, FOX Deportes, Tubi, and the FOX Sports app in the U.S. 

Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega have signed multi-picture deals with Hallmark. Together, the couple have previously starred in three movies for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as well as the Hallmark Channel.
