A Black Lady Sketch Show returns for season four April 14 on HBO. The narrative sketch comedy series features a core cast of Black women living relatable and hilarious experiences in a magical reality that subverts traditional expectations. Returning core cast members for the six episode season include Robin Thede, Gabrielle Dennis and Skye Townsend. Season four stars three new featured players: DaMya Gurley, Tamara Jade, Angel Laketa Moore, and more than 20 celebrity guest stars.
Season two of Sweet Tooth premieres on Netflix April 27. In season 2, Gus and his fellow hybrids are held captive by the Last Men in order to find a cure for the Sick. To save his friends, Gus must find new strength as he uncovers the origins of The Great Crumble. The series is based on the DC comic book series by Jeff Lemire.
Primo premieres May 19 on Prime Video. The coming-of-age, single-camera comedy, inspired by author Shea Serrano’s life growing up in San Antonio, TX, follows Rafa Gonzales, a wide-eyed 16-year-old being raised by his clever mother, Drea, and his five overbearing uncles (Rollie, Mike, Ryan, Jay, and Mondo) as they live their lives on the southside of San Antonio. Rafa is at an inflection point, as three big life moments coincide: he and his friends are nearing the end of high school; he’s pretty sure he just met the girl of his dreams; and he just found out he has a real chance to become the first person in his family to go to college. Prime Video has ordered We Were Liars based on the book by E. Lockhart. The series, from Julie Plec and Carina Adly MaxKenzie, is a tragic love story and an amnesia thriller set on a privately owned island off the coast of Massachusetts.
South Korean series Yonder is set to premiere on Paramount+ April 11. After his wife, Yi-hoo, passes away from an illness, Jae-hyun one day receives a message from her – an invitation to a world called Yonder, which was designed based on her memories. Jae-hyun goes to Yonder and reunites with Yi-hoo. But can they be together forever? Additionally, a collection of thriller and mystery Korean drama series produced by global IP powerhouse CJ ENM and its studios will also be available to stream on Paramount+ globally starting April 11. Those include Signal, Voice, and Save Me.
Hulu’s How I Met Your Father will get a run on Freeform starting April 25. Two episodes of the first season will air weekly. The second season is currently airing on hulu.

Hey Yahoo!, hosted by Tom Cavanagh, is set to premiere on Game Show Network this summer. In the game show, two teams of three players each compete to guess what millions of people are searching for on Yahoo Search. Contestants are given the first half of a search, and then have to fill-in-the-blank based on what they think America is searching for. For each correct answer, the dollar value of that answer is added to the team’s bank. At the end of three rounds of play, the team with the most money wins and will go on to the bonus round for a chance to add an extra $10,000 to their winnings.
The Steve Wilkos Show has been renewed for a seventeenth season. The series tackles issues such as family and criminal justice, true crime and relationship conflicts. The show is hosted by the straightforward, tough-talking Steve Wilkos, a former Chicago police officer and U.S. Marine. Wilkos will be celebrating a milestone 30 years in daytime television in 2024. He started as the popular head of security on “The Jerry Springer Show” in 1994 and quickly won over viewers before launching his own talk show in 2007.
BET has ordered Diarra From Detroit. The eight episode dark comedy series follows a woman who searches for a man who ghosted her. The series will premiere later this year.
