Apple TV+’s Physical will return for a third and final season August 2. Set in the idyllic but fragile beach paradise of sunny 1980s San Diego, Physical is a half-hour dark comedy following Sheila Rubin, a quietly tortured, seemingly dutiful housewife supporting her smart but controversial husband’s bid for state assembly. But behind closed doors, Sheila has her own darkly funny take on life she rarely lets the world see. She’s also battling a complex set of personal demons relating to her self-image… that is, until she finds release through the unlikeliest source: the world of aerobics. Season two found Sheila having successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and bigger obstacles on her path. She is torn between loyalty to her husband and the values he represents, and a dangerous attraction to someone else. And since she’s no longer the only game in town, she finds herself having to outrun some fierce new competitors on the road to building a full-fledged fitness empire. 

Netflix has renewed some of their biggest hits for new seasons. Ginny & Georgia has been renewed for season three and season four. Virgin River has been renewed for a sixth season. Season five will premiere later this year. Additionally, Netflix has announced premiere windows for some of their reality series. Season five of Love is Blind will premiere in September. Squid Game: The Challenge, inspired by the hit Squid Game, will premiere in November. Season two of animated series Sonic Prime will premiere July 13. 

TNT is launching a second night of wrestling with AEW: Collision featuring headliners Thunder Rosa, Miro, Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Andrade El Idolo on June 17. The live, two-hour, in-ring show will air every Saturday night from 8-10 p.m. ET and feature more wrestlers, more stories and more action to super-serve fans. 

The English dub of anime series Oshi no Ko is set to premiere on HIDIVE May 24. When a pregnant young starlet appears in Dr. Gorou Amemiya’s countryside medical clinic, he takes it upon himself to safely (and secretly) deliver Ai Hoshino’s child. But on the eve of her delivery, he is slain by Ai’s deluded stalker — and subsequently reborn as her child, Aquamarine Hoshino! Now, he wants to help his new mother rise to the top, but what can a child do about the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry? And what will he do when disaster strikes?

The Joe Schmo Show is returning for a new season on TBS. Hosted by Cat Deeley, this show within a show takes aim at the absurdity of reality TV by making a regular guy believe he is competing on a reality show, when he is in fact, surrounded by a cast of highly skilled improv comedians. This new take on the iconic format promises to be even bigger, wilder, and more mind-blowing. 

Max has ordered a new travel series with Conan O’Brien titled Conan O’Brien Must Go. The four-episode series is currently in production and will feature O’Brien visiting new friends he’s met through his podcast, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan,” where he dives deep with listeners from across the country and the world. 

Panhandle premieres on The Roku Channel June 2. A brilliant detective. A dedicated cop. They couldn’t like each other less… or need each other more. 

Selena Gomez is joining Food Network later this year with a new celebration-focused series just in time for the holidays. Gomez will also soon begin working on a new series for 2024 that will have her meeting up with some of the best chefs in the country in a quest to cook their most popular dishes when she visits their kitchens.

Jason Momoa joins Discovery Channel’s Shark Week as Master of Ceremonies this Summer. Discovery Channel’s Shark Week will return for its historic 35th year. Over the course of Shark Week, Momoa will set up the jaw dropping events, epic journeys, first-time revelations, and groundbreaking scientific findings that make up the summer spectacle. Fans can expect adrenaline-inducing original hours of sharks from new and continuously explored destinations, all captured on-camera by Discovery’s dedicated science and research field teams.

Amy Schumer: Emergency Contact premieres on Netflix June 13. In Amy Schumer’s newest comedy special Emergency Contact, she delivers another hilariously relatable and uncensored commentary about her life. The special was shot at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. 

TNT has picked up season two of drama series The Lazarus Project. The series is set to premiere June 4. A special sneak peek following the Stanley Cup finals will premiere June 3.

Guy Fieri’s Tournament of Champions will be returning for an all new season next year. Also on the docket from Fieri is an all-new competition travelogue, Best Bite in Town, where Guy will appoint some of his chef friends to hit the road to visit different cities each week, competing to find the very best bite in town.

TBS is reviving Dinner and a Movie for a new season. The series sees two celebrities hosts create a dinner crafted around a movie they show. 

MGM+ has picked up The Winter King which will premiere August 20. The ten episode series is a bold and revisionist take on well-loved Arthurian legends, based on Bernard Cornwell’s Warlord Chronicles series. It is set in the fifth century, long before Britain was united, in a brutal land of warring factions and tribes, where lives were often fleeting. The series follows Arthur Pendragon as he evolves from outcast to legendary warrior and leader. 

Adult Swim recently took over the 7PM slot from Cartoon Network. It was announced today, Adult Swim will also be taking over the 6PM slot in the fall. The new start and ending times will split the networks equally. 

Food Network announced The Elf on the Shelf: Sweet Showdown, a Christmas-themed sweets showdown joining its must-see holiday lineup later this year. The new series will be set in a whimsical holiday wonderland and will feature The Elf on the Shelf’s Scout Elves challenging some of the best sweets makers from across the country to create the most magical and unexpected holiday creations ever seen.

Crime thriller Clean Sweep premieres on Sundance Now and AMC+ June 22. Starring Charlene McKenna, the six episode suspenseful Irish series is told from the point-of-view of the killer who is also, unusually, a self-sacrificing mother and wife. Shelly Mohan is super mom. Her secret power? Multitasking. She juggles the complex lives and schedules of three kids, ages 10, 11 and 15. Her days are filled with cooking and cleaning, shopping and chauffeuring and somehow manages to have a home-cooked meal on the table by the time her husband Jason, a Galway Garda detective, arrives home every night. It’s chaotic and hectic and mostly thankless but it is a life Shelly is happy with. But when a dark secret emerges from her past, she makes a fatal choice to prevent the truth from surfacing. 

Food Network’s holiday programming will feature returning fan-favorite series in Q4. Series include Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown, Christmas Cookie Challenge, Holiday Baking Championship and Holiday Wars

Ryan Seacrest will appear on Live with Kelly and Mark May 18. This will be the first appearance since the former host left the series. Seacrest will be promoting the season finale of American Idol. 

New episodes of The Proof Is Out There premiere on The History Channel June 9. Hosted by veteran TV journalist Tony Harris, the non-fiction series takes an in-depth look at some of the most incredible and thought-provoking videos of unexplained phenomena and mysterious must-see moments. New episodes of Food Network’s ‘in the kitchen’ block are set to premiere on the weekends including The Pioneer Woman with Ree Drummond, Be My Guest with Ina Garten, The Kitchen with co-hosts Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee Biegel, Jeff Mauro and Geoffrey Zakarian, and a new face to the weekend lineup, Franco Noriega. A world-class chef and restaurateur, Franco loves to entertain. Inspired by his Peruvian and Italian roots and his love of international travel, Franco dishes up simple, colorful, crowd-pleasing plates for everyone to enjoy in the all-new Hot Dish with Franco, slated to premiere this Fall. 

Season two of Back to 15 premieres on Netflix July 5. Inspired by the book of the same name by writer Bruna Vieira, in its second season, Back to 15 brings even more 2000s nostalgia – fun, craziness, and of course, the dramas of adult and teenage life. In the new season, 30-year-old Anita needs to go back to age 15 to try to fix the life of her sister, Luiza. However, Joel has hacked her Floguinho account and has also become a time traveler. After a disastrous day of meddling in everyone’s lives, Anita returns to 2021 only to discover her perfect day in Paris with Henrique no longer happened. Everything is different. What now? Anita and Joel need to join forces and put everything back on track and fix the future. In the midst of all this, she still has to decide who she wants to stick with: the romantic Henrique, her partner Joel… or the improbable and irresistible Fabrício

Amidst the more than 80 hours of premieres coming this summer, Food Network’s lineup will also feature returning favorites including a new season of Outchef’d with Eddie Jackson on June 15th; timely seasonal competition Beachside Brawl hosted by Antonia Lofaso and the return of The Great Food Truck Race led by Tyler Florence on June 18th. July will offer double the heat when BBQ Brawl returns featuring a match-up between Bobby Flay, Sunny Anderson and Anne Burrell and the Michael Symon-hosted BBQ USA starts a new season, both titles premiere on July 10th. Fan-favorite Worst Cooks in America returns on August 6th and more premieres to be announced in the weeks ahead. 

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins will be taking over the 9PM slot. The time slot has been empty since Chris Cuomo was fired from the network. She recently hosted the new morning series CNN This Morning. 

Michael Bay is set to executive produce a new true crime docuseries for Investigation Discovery. The series will expose a terrifying, yet little known, true crime story and is set to premiere in 2024. 

CNN announced three new upcoming series set to premiere in 2024. Columbia: The Final Flight will tell the definitive and dramatic story of the Columbia Space Shuttle disaster. Tinderbox: Great Moments in Pop Culture explores the most explosive TV moments we all watched together – the ones that lit a match and ignited a cultural phenomenon. Spy Wars will tell the hidden story of the real-life spies and traitors embroiled in a deadly game of cat and mouse, risking everything to ensure their own side gains the upper hand in this cutthroat battle for world domination.

OWN is expanding its Love & Marriage franchise with the new series Love & Marriage: Detroit. The series will center on a group of African American families with deep ties to Detroit who have decided to stay in the city and prove they can provide the best lives possible for their families in this community on a comeback. It is the third city following Huntsville and Washington D.C. 

Docuseries Downey’s Dream Cars premieres on Max June 22. Robert Downey Jr. loves restoring classic cars. But he’s also become dedicated to fighting climate change. So he’s bringing his beloved old cars into the future, making them faster, more powerful, and more efficient while keeping their souls intact. 

The Surrogacy (Madre de alquiler) premieres on Netflix June 14. A woman rents her womb to a powerful family of Mexican businessmen to save her father’s life. After her delivery, she wakes up in a hospital where she is given a baby who was born with a physical disability. Years later, her life will confront her again with that moment, to discover the truth.
