The season two English dub of Jujutsu Kaisen will premiere on Crunchyroll July 20. This is the innocent spring that the two strongest lost forever. Itadori Yuji took Ryomen Sukuna into his own body in June 2018. Okkotsu Yuta freed Orimoto Rika from her curse in December 2017. And now it’s spring 2006. Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru, two peerless jujutsu sorcerers from Jujutsu High, have been given two missions by Tengen, an immortal known as the cornerstone of the jujutsu community. One mission is the escorting and erasure of the “Star Plasma Vessel”, Amanai Riko, the girl chosen as the best match to merge with Tengen. So the two of them set out on their escort mission in order to keep the jujutsu community going, but an assassin calling himself Fushiguro interferes in an attempt to assassinate the Star Plasma Vessel. The pasts of Gojo and Geto, the ones who would later be known as the most powerful jujutsu sorcerer and the most evil curse user, are about to be revealed… Season 2 will be told over two consecutive cours, with the first part of the story recounting Gojo’s and Geto’s past in the “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” arc.

Season two of The Wheel of Time premieres on Prime Video September 1. The new season is based on the second novel in Robert Jordan’s series, The Great Hunt, as well as some elements of the third novel, The Dragon Reborn. Rand al’Thor learns he is The Dragon Reborn – a dangerous figure from history destined to save the world … or break it. Desperate to protect him from the Dark One, an army of powerful women must reckon with his burgeoning power and encroaching madness. The Wheel of Time turns, and the Last Battle approaches. Though Rand thought he destroyed the Dark One, evil is not gone from the world. In Season Two, threats new and very old seek out the young friends from the Two Rivers, now scattered over the world. The woman who found and guided them is now powerless to help, and so they must find other sources of strength. In each other, or themselves. In the Light … or the Dark.

Season two of The Uncanny Counter premieres on Netflix July 29. Armed with new powers and fresh recruits, the Counters continue their battle against evil demons who feed on humans. 

Season two of anime series BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy- premieres on Netflix July 31. Fifteen years after Dark Schneider – the ancient wizard who once schemed to rule over everything – was sealed away, the world faced the threat of the Dark Rebel Army, which planned to resurrect the god of destruction Anthrasax and was on the verge of invading the Kingdom of Meta-llicana. Another of the Four Divine Kings, the formidable Kall-Su, reigns as High King. He has raised a large army led by the 12 Sorcerer Shoguns and searches for Princess Sheila, who holds the final key to resurrecting Anthrasax. The survivors of the Kingdom of A-Ian-Maide band together around the samurai and form a resistance, clashing with the Sorcerer Shoguns across the land. Among the samurai corps is someone who survived the great war two years prior: Tia Noto Yoko…

Netflix has renewed Elite for an eighth season. The renewal comes ahead of its seventh season premiere October 20. The seventh season of the teen drama series will feature Brazilian pop superstar Anitta. Season eight will see new faces such as Ane Rot, Nuno Gallego and the return of Mina el Hammani reprising her role of Nadia.

The English dub of anime series The Dangers in My Heart premieres on HIDIVE August 26. Fascinated by murder and all things macabre, Kyotaro daydreams of acting out his twisted fantasies on his unsuspecting classmates – but an encounter with Anna Yamada, the gorgeous class idol, lights a spark in the darkness of his heart. It’s a classic tale of an antisocial boy falling for a popular girl, but neither are whom they appear to be at first glance. Will Kyotaro and Anna defy their expectations of each other – and of themselves?

Season two of Bobby’s Triple Threat will premiere on Food Network August 22. In each episode, one top-notch chef enters Bobby’s secret kitchen armed with extraordinary culinary skills and determination to take on Bobby’s three titans Tiffany Derry, Michael Voltaggio and Brooke Williamson, one round each. In the first two rounds, Bobby selects the main ingredients and the visiting competitor picks which titan to go up against. The last round features the competitor picking the ingredients to incorporate, while going against the last remaining titan. All the while, one discerning guest judge blind tastes and scores each dish. If the competitor can out-cook the titans and earn more points than their cumulative score, they take home bragging rights and a $25,000 cash prize. In addition to Michael Symon, Jose Garces and Scott Conant, this season’s competitors include Kelsey Bernard Clark, Esther Choi, Kelvin Fernandez, Byron Gomez, Rashida Holmes, Mei Lin and Shota Nakajima. 

Netflix has removed its basic ad free tier which used to cost $9.99. The streamer still has its plan with ads for $6.99, an ad free plan for $15.49 and a premium plan for $19.99. 

The first seven seasons of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead will begin streaming exclusively on AMC+ July 21, ahead of The Walking Dead: Dead City season finale on July 23. Fear the Walking Dead was the second series in The Walking Dead Universe. The first six episodes of Fear the Walking Dead‘s eighth and final season premiered this spring with the final six episodes rolling out this fall. 

Apple TV+ has ordered two new nature docuseries titled Born to Be Wild and Endangered Planet. Born to be Wild films six rare young animals for several years, as they are brought up in our world, but destined to return to theirs, to rewild their homelands and help save their species. Endangered Planet follows a team of world-class filmmakers and scientists as they venture off the beaten path, capturing groundbreaking, often first-time footage of the planet’s most elusive species using cutting-edge technology, uncovering insights about how to help save and protect these critically endangered animals.

Toya & Reginae premieres on WE tv August 24. The six, one-hour episodes follow the ups and downs of Atlanta’s most dynamic mother daughter duo, Toya Johnson-Rushing and Reginae Carter. At Home with the Furys premieres August 16 on Netflix. Heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury attempts to navigate retirement, his mental health and hectic family life alongside his wife Paris, brother Tommy and Molly Mae Hague. 

The English dub of The Great Cleric will premiere on Crunchyroll July 20. After his untimely death, this salaryman gets another shot at life! When Luciel is reborn into a magical new land, he becomes a healer in hopes of leading a peaceful life. However, he quickly learns that being a healer is much more challenging than he expected. With strict and strenuous training in store, this new life is turning out to be anything but peaceful.
