Sweet Magnolias has been renewed for a fourth season on Netflix. The series is based on the book series by Sherryl Woods. The series follows lifelong best friends Maddie, Dana Sue, and Helen as they juggle relationships, family, and careers in the charming small town of Serenity, SC. 

The Problem With Jon Stewart will not be returning for a third season on Apple TV+. The series had previously been renewed for an eight episode third season. Creative differences between Stewart and Apple are reportedly to blame for the cancellation. 

Prime Video has renewed Gen V for a second season. The Boys spinoff series expands the universe to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes – preferably with lucrative endorsements. You know what happens when supes go bad, but not all superheroes start out corrupt. Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations … literally. As the students vie for popularity and good grades, it’s clear that the stakes are much higher when super powers are involved. When the group of young supes discover that something bigger and sinister is going on at school, they’re put to the test: Will they be the heroes or the villains of their stories? 

Aqua Teen Hunger Force returns for season twelve on adult swim November 26. The five episode new season picks up where we left off in 2015, as Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad have returned to solve all of life’s modern issues, and Carl returns because he can’t sell his crappy house because he lives next door to food. Look for your favorite trio of “detectives” to go head-to-head with A.I. appliances, join an apocalyptic fitness cult, and search for friendship through ancient Egyptian pyramid schemes. In the end, all problems shall be solved, and all brains shall be melted. Did Adult Swim mess with a winning formula? You better believe it! Master Shake now has two all-new facial expressions…”Bemused” and “Lips Pursed in Thought”! And Shake can close his hands now, as if to hold things! Also, Frylock is sixty stories high and Meatwad bounces to get around. Tune in to see if we’re telling the truth! 

Love Island Games premieres on Peacock November 1. Set in Fiji, the series brings together fan-favorite Islanders from various Love Island series across the globe – USA, UK, Australia, France, Sweden and Germany – for a second shot at love as they compete in a brand-new format to be crowned champions of Love Island Games. In this cheeky new iteration, romance will meet reality as fan-favorite Islanders are faced with both team and couples’ challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling, dramatic arrivals, and new competition twists and turns that help control the game like never before. Maya Jama will host the series alongside UK comedian Iain Stirling who reprises his role as narrator. 

Season two of Rap Sh!t premieres on Max November 9. The series follows two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna and Mia, who reunite to form a rap group. In their rise to fame, Shawna and Mia find themselves at a pivotal moment in their rap career as they are forced to decide if they will stay true to themselves or conform to the demands of the music industry. 

Onmyoji premieres November 28 on Netflix. In prosperous ancient Kyoto, court musician Minamoto Hiromasa, grandson of Emperor Daigo, visits the residence of the official onmyoji – the yin-yang diviners – in hopes of unraveling the mysteries of the demons that disturb the city. While there, he is introduced to a man perfectly suited for untangling these enigmas: the great onmyoji Abe Seimei, a man cloaked in an otherworldly aura. Hiromasa is vexed by Seimei’s lack of interest in the mundane world and his reluctance to help, but the two of them confront the demons at the cause of the incidents. They eventually find the onmyoji Ashiya Doman, who lurks in the shadows of the demons. Seimei and Hiromasa are joined by Hiromasa’s flute teacher Imperial Prince Atsumi, the emperor’s onmyoji Kamo Yasunori, and Lady Tsuyuko, who comes to accompany them as a result of a particular case. As their emotions intertwine like threads, will Seimei and Hiromasa be able to restore peace to the capital? 

The season three English dub of The Rising of the Shield Hero premieres October 20 on Crunchyroll. Iwatani Naofumi, a run-of-the-mill otaku, finds a book in the library that summons him to another world. He is tasked with joining the sword, spear, and bow as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes and fighting the Waves of Catastrophe as the Shield Hero. Excited by the prospect of a grand adventure, Naofumi sets off with his party. However, merely a few days later, he is betrayed and loses all his money, dignity, and respect. Unable to trust anyone anymore, he employs a slave named Raphtalia and takes on the Waves and the world. But will he really find a way to overturn this desperate situation?

The English dub of Dreaming Boy is a Realist will premiere on HIDIVE in November. Wataru Sajo is smitten with Aika Natsukawa and doesn’t hesitate to approach her as he daydreams about potential mutual feelings. However, one day he wakes up from that dream and convinces himself that he and Aika are not compatible. But when he withdraws his affection, Aika wonders what went wrong. Does he hate her now? Did they both get the wrong idea? Adolescent love is confusing in a romantic comedy where both sides think their feelings are unrequited!

A new season of Fixer to Fabulous will premiere on HGTV November 7. Husband-and-wife renovation duo Dave and Jenny Marrs will bring more of Bentonville, Arkansas’, dilapidated houses to life. In each of the 16 new episodes, the Marrs will channel Dave’s construction know-how and master carpentry skills and Jenny’s knack for design to complete one-of-a-kind home transformations for their clients. Throughout the season, Dave and Jenny will take on a wide range of overhauls including a family horse ranch, a special renovation for a homeowner facing deployment and a personal project at their own farmhouse revamping their primary suite and kids’ rooms. 

Channel 4 has canceled Steph’s Packed Lunch. In the series, Steph McGovern presents her daily programme live from Yorkshire, with a mixture of entertainment and lifestyle and a variety of guests. The series premiered in 2020. 

The 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards have been canceled. Paramount Global cites world events for the cancellation. The awards show will return in November 2024. 

The English dub of Goblin Slayer season two premieres on Crunchyroll October 20. Rumor has it that, in a certain guild in the middle of nowhere, there is an extraordinary man who has climbed all the way to the Silver rank just by killing goblins. At the same guild, a priestess who’s just become a new adventurer has formed her first party… and the man who ends up rescuing that party when they get into trouble is none other than the Goblin Slayer.

Cigarette Girl premieres November 2 on Netflix. Racing against the time, Lebas must find Dasiyah, an important figure to his father in the past. Accompanied by Arum, Lebas discovers a story full of intrigue in his family’s cigarette industry in the 1960s. 

Season three of Terror Lake Drive: Summer Purge premieres November 16 on ALLBLK. Season three opens with the demolished Freeman Lakes transformed into a sprawling, glamorous lake front summer resort, aptly named, Lake Levi. A highly touted exclusive destination for Atlanta’s elite and privileged. When Janice DuVernay, an in-debt science teacher discovers she is the sole beneficiary to her grandfather’s million-dollar estate on Lake Levi, her family can barely contain their excitement at the prospect of attaining a better life. As the DuVernay’s embark on their summer getaway, a series of bizarre events begin to unfold making it apparent not all fairytales have a happy ending. 

Daily Dose of Sunshine premieres November 3 on Netflix. A kind-hearted nurse working in psychiatry goes above and beyond to be a ray of light for those under her care, despite the challenges coming her way.

Comedy special Dina Hashem: Dark Little Whispers premieres on Prime Video November 10. Hashem discusses everything from death threats and existential dilemmas, to relationship problems, quiet people, and her upbringing as a first generation Arab-American. 

Criminal Code premieres November 14 on Netflix. The Federal Police have a mission – and they will do everything to accomplish it. Inspired by real crimes,the series tells the surprising story of federal police officers who use DNA traces to dismantle the world’s largest bank robbery gang at the border of Brazil with Paraguay.

Faraway Downs premieres November 26 on hulu. Baz Luhrmann’s 6-chapter reimagining of his 2008 film Australia, Faraway Downs is an epic adventure that will inspire audiences. The story centers on an English aristocrat, Lady Sarah Ashley who travels halfway across the world to confront her wayward husband and sell an unusual asset: a million-acre cattle ranch in the Australian Outback called ‘Faraway Downs’. Following the death of her husband, a ruthless Australian cattle baron, King Carney, plots to take her land and she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn cattle drover to protect her ranch. The sweeping adventure romance is explored through the eyes of young Nullah, a bi-racial Indigenous Australian child caught up in the government’s draconian racial policy now referred to as the “Stolen Generations.” Together the trio experiences four life-altering years, a love affair between Lady Ashley and the Drover, and the unavoidable impact of World War II on Northern Australia. 

The English dub of The Kingdoms of Ruin premieres October 20 on Crunchyroll. Witches were once respected for the wisdom and magic they gifted to humans. But with the rise of the Gear Expansion era, the new science community deemed them as enemies who hindered the progress of society. Thus began the slaughter of all witches, including one who had mentored a human boy named Adonis. After witnessing her death, Adonis vows to bring bloodshed and terror to the human race.

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is now streaming on Netflix. Branded an enemy of the state, a cyborg supersoldier struggles to find a cause worth fighting for in a dystopian society where nothing is what it seems.
